"Mr. Son Goku, you are a martial artist worthy of my respect. I hope that one day in the future, we can truly meet."
Shi Tianwu extended his hand toward Son Goku.
Shaking hands with Son Goku while inhabiting Son Gohan's body felt slightly strange to him.
"Uh, sure..."
Shi Tianwu shook hands with Son Goku, and at that moment, he departed from Son Gohan's body.
"..., Dad."
"Oh, Gohan, you're back."
"Do you feel anything? Gohan?!" Son Goku asked with concern.
"I don't feel anything," Gohan replied.
"Dad, let's go collect the Dragon Balls! We can make a wish so you won't die from that heart disease."
"Yeah, I don't want to die for a reason like that either." Goku nodded.
"Old Son, do you need the Dragon Ball Radar?" Bulma asked.
"I'm going to have to trouble you again, Bulma." Goku raised a hand to scratch the back of his head.
"By the way, since the Androids won't appear for another three years, we could just go and finish off Dr. Gero right now. That way, the Android crisis won't happen in the future," Bulma said. "Even if we can't find Dr. Gero, we could just use the Dragon Balls to find out where he is."
"Bulma..." Piccolo looked at the woman.
"The Earth's Dragon Balls require a year of dormancy to recharge after being used."
"We are collecting the Dragon Balls now to solve the problem with Old Son's health first."
"If we want to use the Dragon Balls to make another wish, it won't be until a year from now."
"Don't you dare!!" Vegeta suddenly shouted at Bulma.
"If you dare to meddle like that, I'll kill you first!!"
"Did you hear me!!"
"What do you mean by meddling!!" Bulma immediately roared back, her voice louder than Vegeta's.
"This isn't a game! It concerns the Earth and everyone's lives!"
"Old Son, you agree with me, don't you? Answer me, don't you!!" Bulma grabbed Kakarot by the shoulders and shouted.
"This... hehe, actually, I kind of want to fight those Androids first." Kakarot turned his face away, feeling a bit embarrassed, not daring to meet Bulma's sharp gaze.
"Sorry about that."
"A-and, that scientist hasn't even created the Androids yet, so killing him just like that is a bit... haha," Old Son said.
"What about you guys?" Bulma turned to look at the others present.
"Krillin, Tien Shinhan, Yamcha, Chiaotzu, you've all died once or twice already. If you get killed again, you won't be able to be revived."
"Those two guys are battle-hungry Saiyans by nature, but there's no need for you to risk your lives along with them, is there?" Bulma looked at them.
"I... I still choose to fight," Tien Shinhan said.
"Now that I've finally gained a chance to catch up to Goku, I'm going to give it my all." Tien Shinhan smiled.
"Me too," Yamcha said, clenching his fists.
"I'm always the one praying for Goku to hurry up and save us in a crisis. I want to let Goku look forward to me saving the day for once." Krillin put his hands on his hips and looked at Son Goku.
"Ha, Krillin, is that what you're thinking?" Goku laughed as well.
"So what?" Krillin said, lifting his chin.
"Do whatever you want! Honestly." Bulma crossed her arms, looking annoyed at these battle-crazed men.
"What else can ordinary people like us do?" Bulma muttered under her breath. "The future of the Earth is all on your shoulders."
"We will definitely win."
"For the peace of the Earth, we must win!!" Son Goku raised his right hand and shouted loudly.
"Yeah--!!" Son Gohan, Krillin, and Yamcha all echoed him with high spirits.
"Then... May 12th, three years from now, at 9:00 AM, we'll meet at that location. Anyone who has confidence in themselves can come," Son Goku said.
"Kakarot..."
"Yeah." Son Goku looked at Vegeta.
"Don't get too carried away. Don't think that just because you've become the legendary Super Saiyan... I'll defeat you sooner or later."
"Don't forget, I am the strongest among the Saiyans..."
"I know."
Vegeta flared his energy and flew into the sky. He was the first to leave, heading toward West City.
As for that Magnetic Rotation power, he, Vegeta, had absolutely no need for it. If Kakarot could transform into a Super Saiyan, he could too.
With the power of a Saiyan, he would eliminate every crisis!!
"In that case, we shall take our leave as well." Tien Shinhan and Chiaotzu departed.
"Piccolo, what about you? I'm looking for someone to spar with," Son Goku asked.
"Fine by me. That suits me perfectly."
"Krillin, Yamcha, do you want to join us?" Goku asked again.
"I... I plan to train at my own pace with Master Mutaito," Krillin replied.
"As for me, to be honest, I don't think I can keep up with your training..." Yamcha answered, lacking confidence. Having faced many setbacks in the martial arts, the gift he had received from Shi Tianwu left him feeling hesitant.
"That settles it, then!"
Goku raised his hand to bid farewell to Bulma, Yamcha, and Krillin, preparing to return home to Mount Paozu.
He headed home with Gohan and Piccolo.
West City.
Vegeta was discussing something with Bulma's father.
"What did you say? You want a training room with three hundred times gravity?"
"Are you joking?" Dr. Brief asked Vegeta slowly.
"Kakarot completed training at one hundred times gravity; this is only three times that," Vegeta told Dr. Brief.
"That's too reckless..." Dr. Brief said with concern.
"I must surpass Kakarot."
"I must change my future."
"I will not die at the hands of the Androids."
"Alright, alright, I understand. Vegeta, you must learn to take care of your body, or you won't be able to survive under three hundred times gravity," Dr. Brief said, gesturing to Vegeta.
"..., Hmph. I'll have the computer design a scientific training regimen for you," Dr. Brief added.
"The new computer Bulma built a few months ago features a highly advanced Evolutionary Algorithm that can significantly improve a person's learning ability. Your training is equivalent to learning, so it can be applied there as well."
"..., Thank you." Vegeta expressed his gratitude to Dr. Brief, a rare occurrence.
"It's nothing." Dr. Brief smiled.
Being able to sense respect from the usually cold and distant Vegeta made Dr. Brief feel a little happy.
Dr. Brief had heard from Vegeta about the crisis looming three years in the future, and he felt a vague sense of worry.
In truth, Dr. Gero was an old friend of Dr. Brief's; they used to meet at scientific conferences in the past to exchange ideas on various topics.
As the world's greatest scientist, every move Dr. Brief made was closely watched by the global scientific community.
