"It's not over yet?" After breaking free of the white tide, Tesoro seized this rare chance to counterattack. "You'll regret your arrogance!"
"Die!"
"Golden Hellfire!" The Golden Giant's fist became armored, and as it swung, scorching flames burst forth, engulfing Doflamingo and the white tide around him.
If my opponent is made of string, he should be afraid of fire! That was the only way Tesoro could think of to counter Doflamingo.
"Fuffuffuffu... Fire?"
"Not a bad idea!" Doflamingo's lips curled into a sneer. "Too bad that having a powerful Devil Fruit doesn't mean you can stand at the summit!"
"Only Haki reigns supreme!"
Kaido: ...
"Why does that sound so familiar?" It was a good thing Kaido wasn't here. With the little Haki Doflamingo had, Kaido would've given him another good whack with his club.
"Spider Web Wall!" Black threads wove into a web that caught the incoming fireballs. No matter how scorching they were, the flames couldn't harm the threads as long as Doflamingo's Haki held out.
"Fuffuffuffu... This is nowhere near hot enough!" Tesoro's fireballs couldn't burn through Doflamingo's Haki defense in such a short time. Their heat was nowhere near that of Gray's Flying Wheel, leaving Doflamingo, who had prepared for this for so long, sorely disappointed.
"This isn't over yet!" If one attack couldn't burn through, he'd just have to send more. "Ora ora ora!"
The Golden Giant rapidly swung both fists, and gigantic fireballs blanketed Doflamingo's entire field of vision.
Wanting to see how far his opponent had developed his Devil Fruit, Doflamingo simply reinforced his defenses.
No matter how fiercely Tesoro attacked and burned at him, Doflamingo kept his Haki active. Whenever the fireballs burned some of it away, he added more.
For a while, the two seemed locked in a stalemate.
