The Snow Empress stood before the pitch-black crack and called out to Di Lintian.

He asked as the thought occurred to him, "Senior Ice God, aren't Soul Beasts forbidden from becoming gods?"

One is to undergo human transformation and recultivate; the other is to do as she is doing—find a deity willing to pass their divine position to you." The Ice God pointed to the Snow Empress, answering Di Lintian's question. "But the second path is impossible; no deity in the God Realm would pass their position to a Soul Beast, unless one could find a Soul Beast deity like me."

"Then I am still willing."

The Snow Empress nodded firmly once more.
