Background / History

Originally known as Lin Tian, Di Lintian transmigrated into the Douluo Continent as a soul beast. After recognizing the Beast Kings of the Star Dou Forest, he resolved to seek godhood despite the God Realm's prohibition on soul beasts becoming gods. His intended solution was to transform into a human, gather faith, and create his own godhood. 2

During his early years in Demon Dragon Valley, he gave Xie Yu'er a drop of Holy Blood. It granted her the Dark Demon Dragon martial soul and transformed her potential; she later adopted the name Lin Yu'er and founded Sky Dragon Pavilion to support Di Lintian's future in the human world. 5 6

Five thousand years after naming himself Di Lintian, he became closely involved with the newly born Three-Eyed Golden Lion. Although Di Tian objected due to the Auspicious Beast's importance and conflicting attributes, Di Lintian took her to Demon Dragon Valley and became her companion over the following millennia. 6 7

After surviving his hundred-thousand-year heavenly tribulation, Di Lintian chose human transformation so that he could pursue godhood and revive the soul beast race. Gu Yuena supported the decision and accompanied him into the human world under the name Na'er. 8

He later reshaped himself beside the Lake of Life, abandoning his dragon body for a human one. The Beast Kings protected him during the process and gave him multiple high-level spirit bones to support his new cultivation. 9

After returning to the human world, Di Lintian consolidated his position as Sky Dragon Pavilion's Young Pavilion Master and pursued the transformation of the pavilion into an empire capable of unifying the continent and generating faith for his future godhood. 15 18 23

In soul beast form, Di Lintian is a five-hundred-meter-long black dragon. His human form is a handsome black-haired youth with crimson eyes, dark dragon horns, and a preference for black clothing. 7 8 9

Di Lintian is ambitious, calculating, and strongly focused on the long-term revival of soul beasts. He is willing to manipulate people, alter Tang San's development, control Xiao Wu through a Heart Locust Demon Seed, and eliminate those he considers unreliable or obstructive. 9 13 45

Despite this ruthlessness, he shows attachment to those close to him. He plays with and protects the Three-Eyed Golden Lion, worries about Na'er's trust in him, supports the Imperial Dou Team with immortal herbs, and treats Sky Dragon Pavilion's loyal members as valuable allies. 7 13 25 31
