Appearance
Han Ruoruo is a beautiful young woman with a slightly gaunt face, lovely brows, and a composed presence. Her embarrassment is often visible in the flush of her cheeks or earlobes. 49 55 70
- Wears Shrek Inner Court’s distinctive red uniform. 57
- Has fair, slender hands. 50
- Carries a mature, gentle fragrance. 64
- Her lowered-head expression is compared to a water lily bowing in a cool breeze. 52
- After arriving in Star Luo City, her slightly thinner cheeks do not diminish her beauty; she is compared to an epiphyllum quietly blooming at night. 129
Personality
Han Ruoruo is intelligent, calm, and considerate. She researches mission details, recognizes threats quickly, and approaches cooperation pragmatically; when facing the Blood-Colored Forest’s red-level mission, she openly explains both its danger and her personal reason for participating. 49 50
Though outwardly gentle and approachable, she is firm and decisive when required. She disciplines Wu Ming’s excesses, exercises authority over Outer Court students, and is not easily intimidated by challenges to her standing. 59 63 70
Her experiences in the Blood Pool illusion leave her more willing to acknowledge her feelings for Qiangu Yunche. Rather than forcing an answer, she chooses to let their relationship develop naturally. 55 56
Han Ruoruo is well read and values a soul master’s theoretical education alongside cultivation. She is able to identify the gender restriction of the Light Goddess Butterfly martial soul and directs others to relevant rare-martial-soul materials in the Sea God Pavilion Library. 135
Abilities & Skills
Golden Binding Rope
Han Ruoruo possesses the Golden Binding Rope, a top-tier control-type tool martial soul. It excels at restricting opponents and coordinating allies, though it does not naturally enhance her physical fitness. 48 50
- Can be manipulated with the flexibility and precision of an extension of her body. 48
- Her control ability is particularly effective when paired with Qiangu Yunche’s direct offensive power. 48
- Her pursuit of a Golden Python King torso bone stems from the martial soul’s lack of physical-strength enhancement. 50
- The Golden Python King torso bone substantially improves her physical condition, though she initially judges that it alone would not safely support absorption of a hundred-thousand-year eighth soul ring. 72
Mental Locking
As a high-level Soul Saint, Han Ruoruo has mastered mental locking ahead of schedule. 48
- Accurately judges opponents’ movements.
- Applies mental pressure to targets.
- Raises her effective combat output to one hundred and twenty percent.
- Creates a suppressive effect against opponents. 48
Heavenly Net
Han Ruoruo’s fifth soul skill creates a vast net of Golden Binding Ropes across a roughly hundred-meter area. 48
- Suppresses spirit power.
- Seals movement.
- Binds the target’s body.
- Serves as her strongest area-of-effect control skill at the time of its use. 48
Golden Thread Guidance
Han Ruoruo’s second soul skill links a chosen ally to her perception through a hair-thin Golden Binding Rope. 48
- Shared perception can convey the direction of every individual rope.
- She uses it on Qiangu Yunche during their battle against the vampires. 48
Equipment / Items
- Golden Python King torso bone — Her intended reward from the Blood-Colored Forest expedition; she seeks it to remedy her weak physical constitution. 50
- Dark Gold Three-Headed Bat King skull fragments — Purchases all three from Qiangu Yunche on credit, offering a ten-thousand-year right arm bone and ten million Gold Soul Coins for one skull. 64
- Seventy-thousand-year Golden Python King torso bone — Selected at the Treasure Gathering Pavilion and subsequently absorbed, substantially strengthening her physical condition. 66 72
- Hundred-thousand-year soul beast opportunity — Qiangu Yunche offers her the Narcissus Jade Muscle Bone for soul-ring acquisition on Sea God Island. 71
Relationships
- Qiangu Yunche — Initially allies with him against vampires in the Blood-Colored Forest; their mutual trust develops through the red-level mission, the Blood Pool illusion, and his stay at Shrek. Han eventually accepts the possibility of a relationship with him. After reuniting in Star Luo City, their relationship becomes openly romantic and intimate, while Han remains a perceptive and steady presence beside him. 48 50 55 56 71 78 129 131
- Wu Ming — Her closest friend and fellow Inner Court student. Han often acts as the composed, responsible counterpart to Wu Ming’s impulsiveness, while remaining deeply protective of her. She supports Wu Ming’s relationship with Qiangu Yunche despite her own jealousy and later disapproves when Wu Ming becomes excessively demonstrative with him. 49 63 70 72 152
- Zhang Lexuan — Shrek’s Eldest Senior Sister and Han’s senior. Zhang Lexuan recognizes Han’s changed relationship with Wu Ming and Qiangu Yunche upon returning from a mission. The two later undertake an Evil Soul Master operation with Wu Ming near Spirit Dou City. 49 70 121
- Ling Luochen — A fellow Shrek Inner Court student connected to Qiangu Yunche; Han remains part of the group of women who later discuss their respective relationships with him. 61 78
- Xu Sanshi — An Outer Court student whom Han reprimands for causing trouble at Huo Yuhao and Tang Ya’s grilled-fish stall. 59
Story Role / Major Arcs
Blood-Colored Forest Mission
Han first encounters Qiangu Yunche while surrounded by vampires and spirit beasts in the Blood-Colored Forest. She accepts his division of roles—her control and his offense—and uses Heavenly Net and Golden Thread Guidance to enable their rapid victory. Qiangu Yunche subsequently saves her from a mental attack. 48
After Wu Ming arrives, Han identifies the forest as the site of a red-level, “Pavilion-Entry Level” Shrek monitoring mission. She joins Qiangu Yunche’s expedition alongside Wu Ming, motivated by confidence in their combined strength and her need for a Golden Python King torso bone. 49 50
Han and Wu Ming are rendered unconscious during the Blood Pool’s illusion. After the illusion breaks, they struggle with its emotional aftermath but thank Qiangu Yunche for saving them. 54 55
Shrek Academy Visit
Following the mission, Han invites Qiangu Yunche to Shrek City. She understands his reservations concerning Shrek Academy’s independence and power, unlike Wu Ming’s more defensive reaction. 56 57
She hosts him in her Sea God Island cabin while she and Wu Ming report their completed mission. During his stay, she continues to serve as Wu Ming’s disciplinarian and handles academy matters with measured authority. 61 63
Treasure Gathering Pavilion and Advancement
Han negotiates with Qiangu Yunche to acquire the Dark Gold Three-Headed Bat King skull fragments, accepting a substantial debt to secure them. 64
She later selects a seventy-thousand-year Golden Python King torso bone at the Treasure Gathering Pavilion. 66
At twenty-five, Han breaks through to level 80 and becomes a Soul Douluo. Her advancement confirms her exceptional standing among her generation of Shrek’s Inner Court. 70
Relationship with Qiangu Yunche
Qiangu Yunche offers Han and Wu Ming paths to obtain hundred-thousand-year soul rings without leaving Sea God Island. Han trusts him enough to accept despite the proposal’s extraordinary nature. 71
She is initially uncomfortable with Qiangu Yunche’s teasing and advances, particularly as Wu Ming’s feelings become explicit, but ultimately acknowledges her own feelings rather than denying them. 70 72
Before Qiangu Yunche leaves Shrek City, he clarifies his relationships with Han, Wu Ming, and Ling Luochen. Han accepts his departure and resolves to continue improving herself. 78
Evil Soul Master Operation and Star Luo Reunion
Han, Wu Ming, and Zhang Lexuan are personally assigned by Mu En to assist in an operation against powerful Evil Soul Masters near Spirit Dou City, with Sea God Pavilion elders accompanying them. 121
After completing the operation and travelling to Star Luo City, Han reunites with Qiangu Yunche and Wu Ming. She reveals that her cultivation has reached level 86, and her perceptiveness allows her to infer that Qiangu Yunche possesses beast-level soul rings and that the Blood-Red Nine-Headed Bat King’s fate was connected to him. 129
Han and Wu Ming subsequently release the stress and emotions they had accumulated, becoming noticeably more radiant and confident in their relationship with Qiangu Yunche. 131
