Differences at the Awards Ceremony

Huo Yuhao only felt that the place Zhu Lu mentioned sounded somewhat familiar, but he had no strong impression of it. Casually tossing Zhu Lu out, he said, "I've never picked up your teeth, anyway. If you really want them back, go ask the teacher in charge of cleaning where they threw them."

Huo Yuhao shrugged and did not take the matter to heart. He simply sat quietly in a chair, waiting for Xiao Xiao to return with their food.

At that moment, Wang Dong suddenly said, "Even if it isn't much of a secret anymore, she actually managed to find out where your recommendation letter was made. As champions, shouldn't we be able to lodge at least a small protest?"

Huo Yuhao considered it for a moment, then shrugged. "Making a fuss won't accomplish much. At most, they'll punish one or two temporary workers. Besides, that information is useless to me anyway. Let it go."

Wang Dong lay on the bed in thought. About twenty minutes later, Xiao Xiao pushed open the door and walked in, looking at Huo Yuhao strangely. "I've never seen you carry other people's teeth around as a hobby."

Huo Yuhao: "..."

Wang Dong immediately got angry at Xiao Xiao's words. Sitting up, she said unhappily, "Is that Zhu Lu still going around biting people?"

Xiao Xiao excitedly took several bottles of juice from beneath the food box. After opening them, she said, "It's not appropriate to drink alcohol right now, but a celebration feast has to have something to drink."

Huo Yuhao shrugged, then sat at the head of Wang Dong's bed and gently moved her limp hand. "You're making things difficult for our young master Wang, whose meridians are injured."

Wang Dong rolled her eyes at Huo Yuhao, then pinched his arm in protest. Huo Yuhao did not care at all, instead pouring a cup of juice and bringing it to Wang Dong's lips.

The three of them completed their celebratory feast amid a cheerful atmosphere.

The next morning was another bright, sunny day. Because Sea God Lake lay within the campus, the air at Shrek Academy was not only fresh but also exceptionally humid.

All the freshmen who had passed the assessment gathered in Shrek Square, waiting to be assigned to their classes.

Wang Dong naturally draped an arm over Huo Yuhao's shoulder and, still somewhat unsteady on her feet, walked to the front of the group.

Du Weilun held a folder in his hand. After smilingly sweeping his gaze over the young students, he said,

"I believe everyone already knows that the Freshman Assessment elimination rounds have concluded, and the final top three have been decided. I will now formally announce them once more, along with the rewards they will receive."

There was no change in the rankings of the top three. If there was anything different, it was that Zhu Lu had not shown up. Apparently, she had gone to have her teeth repaired.

While they were walking, Wang Dong finally could not hold it in any longer and asked Du Weilun, "Director Du, did you leave Huo Yuhao off the Core Disciple list? If he is not a Core Disciple, then I do not believe I am qualified to bear the empty title of one..."
