"Warning! Warning!"
"High-speed low-altitude object has entered the country! Speed: Mach 4—"
"Activate the anti-missile system!"
The alarm blared. At Mach 4, the object had burst in at low altitude from the Golden Triangle; it would take just over two minutes to reach the border.
In other words, they had at most two minutes to react. Any longer, and the consequences could become impossible to predict.
What if it attacked an important target?
What if it attacked a residential area?

No one could bear that responsibility!
Just as every department descended into chaos, a call from the Special Affairs Bureau somehow squeezed through:
"An unidentified object has emerged from an ancient Daoist Secret Realm in the Golden Triangle!"
What the hell was that supposed to mean?
What the hell was a Daoist Secret Realm?

Things were already a complete mess here, and they were still adding to it!
Lasers, missiles, every possible measure was deployed. They had to stop the enemy outside the national borders. The soldiers in charge of interception stared at their screens, hearts pounding, their blood pressure shooting past 180.
"It's too fast! The radar can't lock onto it!"
"Wait! How big is this thing? Its radar cross-section shows only one meter!"
"Anti-aircraft guns! Are there any anti-aircraft guns along its flight path?"
"Have you calculated the trajectory yet?"
"How can a low-altitude aircraft fly this fast? Even a hypersonic missile would've burned out after flying this far!"
The low-altitude object flew straight north, trailing a long streak of radiance visible even to the naked eye from the ground.
Anti-aircraft guns rose one after another and sprayed bullets at it. The glowing streak did not so much as flicker
