A new problem had arisen in restoring cultural relics!
Shen Le paced in circles helplessly. His shoes stepped through the dust that had just splashed across the floor, leaving clear footprints ring after ring.
If he were asked to carve patterns into the surface of wood, he was experienced at that. If all else failed, Little Ink Marker could lead its little brothers in a swarm;
If he were asked to guide the wood's growth, he could do that too. Guiding talisman-like energy pathways to "grow" inside the wood might be harder, but after enough attempts, Shen Le was confident he could figure it out;
But carving Talismans inside an existing wooden board?
Good heavens, he had no idea where to begin!
The talismanic patterns twisted and curved, branching and spreading into every corner of the board. Even sawing the board in half would not help! It would have to be cut into layer after layer like a chip, then carved upward through them!
Not to mention that he still did not know what the missing sections of these Talismans—well, perhaps they were Talismans—were supposed to look like...
Shen Le sighed and could only begin with painstaking work. He activated the wooden boards one by one, traced them one by one, and made drawings of them on the computer one by one.
After drawing for three days straight, his head buzzed. He tossed aside the mouse.
"There's no way I can keep doing this!"
Handling such an enormous workload alone was simply inhuman!
Even if only he could "read" the talisman patterns from the boards, couldn't someone else at least draw them out?
Or enter them into a computer?
There had to be some way to cut corners!
Gritting his teeth, he called the director of Shanghai's Special Affairs Bureau
