Although the assembly lines for both the large Pottery Houses and small Pottery Houses had been set up, Shen Le did not leave Jingdezhen right away. Instead, he remained there and kept working:
There was no helping it. In this vast country, aside from the other side of the strait that the Special Affairs Bureau could not yet reach, there were a full thirty-three provincial-level administrative regions and more than three hundred prefecture-level administrative regions.
Never mind one large Pottery House for every city. At the very least, every prefecture-level city would need one large Pottery House and a hundred small Pottery Houses before they could barely cover everything, right?
If that still would not do, then taking a step back—there were thirty-three provincial-level administrative regions. Every provincial capital or municipality directly under the central government would need one large Pottery House and a hundred small Pottery Houses, right?
It was like how there were thirty-three provinces. In truth, every province wanted an aircraft carrier. When one particular province got the naming rights for the Type 076, the entire province beat their chests and wailed as though the stars had fallen upon Wuzhang Plains...
Aircraft carriers could be built slowly; it was impossible to build them all at once. They could not exactly add provinces once there were more carriers, or add carriers once there were more provinces.
But the large and small Pottery Houses had to be produced as quickly as possible—at least one for every province first, then expanded until every prefecture-level city had one.
Even with assembly lines handling the work, Shen Le still had to keep watch nearby—at least during the initial phase—so that the two lines could run quickly and steadily.
Poor him, a student of the Cultural Relic Restoration Major. Even when he worked,
