Eastern resurrection point.

After a flash of light, Jiang Ming emerged from the resurrection point, carrying a hoe and wearing a hemp-cloth outfit.

"I'm back, you bastards! You dared bully me? You're all dead!"

Just thinking about what had happened three hours ago in the Abandoned Mine was enough to make Jiang Ming see red.

He felt he had never suffered such humiliation in his life—being beaten to death by a group of people.

By now, Jiang Ming had long forgotten why he had started playing this game.

He had tried Omnipotent God out of curiosity, but had become completely engrossed in it.

He had already forgotten Fang Chong's instructions to apologize to Wonder Studio and discuss a potential partnership.

As Jiang Ming was thinking about how to get revenge, light flashed at the resurrection point, and another figure appeared.

"Jiang Ming, what do we do now?"

The young man who spoke was named Huang Yan. He was a little chubby, Jiang Ming's childhood friend and best buddy. After Jiang Ming recommended the game to him, he had started playing Omnipotent God too.

"We have to hit back!" Jiang Ming said, glaring.

"How? There are only two of us, and they have a whole crowd!" Huang Yan grumbled, then his expression suddenly changed.

"Jiang Ming, you've taken over your dad's position and are managing the Infinite Game Platform now, right? Can't you use the platform's name to ask Wonder Studio for some privileges? Get each of us a million Divine Power, so we can gear up and summon more troops. We could also buy the complete set of Giant Spirit Rage from the Game Store. Then we wouldn't have to be afraid of them, would we?"

"Do I really need to use the platform's name to ask for special treatment over something this trivial?" Jiang Ming said with displeasure, though inwardly he was panicking.

He knew Wonder Studio wouldn't give him the time of day.

"That doesn't make sense. You used to love using your privileges. In the games we played before, didn't you get a bunch of perks by invoking your dad's name? I remember one time you got us two sets of Supreme Invincible gear, and we could run rampant in the game..."

"Shut up. I can't do that this time!"

"Then what are we supposed to do? How can we beat them without privileges? They have over a hundred people!" Huang Yan said, dejected.

"I've already thought of a way."

"What way?"

"Buy Divine Power with money!"

Huang Yan stared at him in astonishment.

"You mean, pay cash for Divine Power?"

"Exactly. As long as our offer is attractive, players will sell us their Divine Power. Then we'll have enough to summon troops and buy Giant Spirit Rage!"

"But you never spent money on games before... Fine, I'm in!" Seeing Jiang Ming's expression shift, Huang Yan immediately agreed.

Since the game had no way to top up, the two began to figure out how to buy Divine Power.

First, they posted an offer to buy Divine Power on the Omnipotent God discussion board and left their phone number in the post.

After logging back into the game, Jiang Ming and Huang Yan began camping at the resurrection point.

Whenever a player emerged from it, they hurried over and asked:

"Hey, do you have any Divine Power? Name your price. I'll buy it all!"

Their method was clumsy, but with money on their side, it took only half a day for Jiang Ming and Huang Yan to buy 1,300 Divine Power, spending nearly 200,000 in cash.

With the Divine Power, they immediately revived all their fallen troops and summoned four Blood Gladiators, greatly boosting their strength in a short time.

But Jiang Ming and Huang Yan were clearly not satisfied.

"What do we do? We're getting less and less. Are we ever going to get revenge?" Huang Yan asked dejectedly, rubbing his chubby cheeks.

"We can't just let it go. Keep buying!" Jiang Ming said firmly.

"How about we go mine at another resource point while buying Divine Power? Players near resource points should have more Divine Power on them, right?" Huang Yan suggested.

Hearing this, Jiang Ming fell silent for a moment, then nodded.

The two downloaded an exploration map shared by another player on the discussion board and headed south.

Their destination this time was the southern resource point known as the "Lava Stone Mine."

Following the map, they pressed on, discussing how to get revenge the whole way. Clearly, they were obsessed with it.

Their upbringing had something to do with this.

Both had been born with silver spoons in their mouths. Everyone around them had catered to them since they were children, and they had never suffered a grievance.

In other games, they had been privileged war gods. They were the ones who bullied other players, while nobody else could even get through their defenses.

But in Omnipotent God, with no privileges to rely on, the two had been given a harsh reality check.

While mining in the Abandoned Mine, a group of players had mistaken them for members of an enemy faction and pinned them down for a brutal beating.

Naturally, the two couldn't swallow that insult.

After walking for about twenty minutes, the sound of fighting in the distance caught Jiang Ming and Huang Yan's attention.

They circled around the thorn bushes ahead and saw a spectacular sight.

A white-furred ape with golden whiskers was fighting another white-furred ape. Their fists landed with bone-crunching force, sending gusts of air sweeping outward.

All around them, countless white-furred apes watched solemnly, seemingly waiting for the outcome of the duel.

Creature Details: One of the overlords of the southern region of Dragon Scale Island. Born with Divine Power, it possessed keen battle instincts and excellent hand-to-hand combat skills.

Temperament: Violent, short-tempered

After using Analyze to check the details of the golden-whiskered White Ape, Jiang Ming and Huang Yan trembled and cowered behind the thorn bushes, too afraid to show themselves.

They knew exactly what would happen if they were spotted.

There was no way they could avoid a three-hour Resurrection Cooldown.

As they waited, the fight neared its end.

The Dragon Ape Lord was clearly running out of stamina, its punches slowing down. The other White Ape, however, only grew fiercer, swinging its claws and leaving one wound after another on the Dragon Ape Lord.

With a deafening roar, the White Ape Lord was knocked to the ground with a single punch and couldn't get back up.

"Whew! Whew! Whew!" The victorious White Ape raised both hands, then pounded its chest.

Seeing this, the White Apes all stood up excitedly and pounded their chests along with their new king, seemingly welcoming the birth of their new ruler in this way.

A moment later, the new White Ape King led the troop away, leaving only the dying Dragon Ape Lord behind.

Once they were sure it was safe, Jiang Ming and Huang Yan emerged from the thorn bushes.

They came to stand before the mortally wounded White Ape Lord.
