I was playing when I received the news that Omnipotent God had been removed, and I was just as confused as everyone else.
As for why Omnipotent God was removed from Infinite Game Platform, I think there might be a few possible reasons.
(The following is just my personal speculation. Take it with a grain of salt.)
Reason One: The number of Omnipotent God players has grown dramatically recently, but the game is still free to play. This has inevitably cost Infinite Game Platform revenue from in-game purchases. The platform's player base is basically stable, after all, and it wouldn't want a large number of players flocking to a free game. So it kicked the free-to-play Omnipotent God off the platform.
Reason Two: Infinite Game Platform wanted to acquire Omnipotent God, but negotiations fell through.
The potential of Omnipotent God is obvious. It's absolutely a product of a new era, a game capable of overturning the entire gaming industry.
