As an exploration enthusiast, I've explored 34.6% of Dragon Scale Island over the past while. Recently, I came up with a new idea and decided to check out the world beyond the island, especially the legendary Sun-Eroding Island. I haven't been there yet.

But the Game Store hasn't added any sailing tools or special troops capable of crossing the sea, so I came up with the idea of making a raft myself.

Cutting down trees these past few days nearly killed me.

Today, I finally finished making my raft and was about to head out to sea when I saw this.

Meow Meow Fist was one of the better-known players in the Omnipotent God community.

The exploration maps she had shared had helped players find many new resource sites, easing the resource shortage and resolving quite a few conflicts.

So, shortly after she posted her livestream thread, a large number of curious players clicked on it, wanting to see what interesting thing this exploration enthusiast had discovered in the game this time.

After reading the description, they clicked the livestream link, and the scene instantly switched to the game.

Unlike a movie, players who entered the livestream found themselves appearing directly inside the game rather than watching a 2D video.

At the same time, a roar that shook the heavens in the distance immediately drew their attention.

One red and one blue, the two towering beasts stood at the edge of the horizon like giants propping up the sky. Every so often, they collided, tearing through space and pulling open countless fine spatial rifts that quickly healed.

The players watching the livestream were stunned by the sight.

"I used to think the White Ape King was ridiculously strong. Now that I've seen these two monsters, I realize I was wrong. These things are the real final bosses!"

"These have to be the strongest units in Omnipotent God, right? Will we be able to train troops this powerful someday? I can't wait!"

"If I could kill one of those monsters and collect its soul, would I be able to do whatever I wanted in the game?"

Through the livestream Meow Meow Fist shared on the forum, players watched the breathtaking monster battle from a first-person perspective. They flooded the chat with comments, cheering and calling it a blast.

After learning that such terrifying creatures existed in the game, many players began to wonder if they could tame them.

They knew it wasn't realistic.

But they had already prepared to spend their whole lives conquering this game. They had plenty of time.

If one year wasn't enough, they'd take five. If five wasn't enough, they'd take ten.

They believed that as long as they kept playing, sooner or later they would gain power like this.

The battle left the players fired up and full of fighting spirit.

But soon, their attention was drawn to an unusual phenomenon on the sea.

Huge schools of fish swam toward the shore, then leaped out of the water and landed on land.

Meow Meow Fist was standing on the shore, utterly bewildered, when she was slapped to death by a flurry of fish tails.

The players in the livestream immediately burst out laughing.

"Hahaha, streamer, you're so unlucky! You actually got slapped to death by a fish's tail. I'm dying! (Tip: 1 Divine Power)"

"OP, you're so broke! You haven't even bought a single piece of gear, and you're still wearing cloth clothes. No wonder a few tail slaps killed you. Here, let me help you out. (Tip: 2 Divine Power)"

"Why are these fish so vicious? Even without gear, you shouldn't have been killed in just a few hits. I think something's up!"

The livestream gradually faded after Meow Meow Fist died, eventually going black.

But the players watching were still discussing things in the chat.

The conversation shifted from the giant beasts to the school of fish.

Just then, a player posted a screenshot in the livestream chat.

After a brief frenzy, the livestream chat instantly went quiet.

Realizing a chance to strike it rich was right in front of them, the players all chose to log in and head straight for the East Sea coast, ready to start picking up cash.

After all, the Spirit Fish's stat description was just too tempting.

Even if they didn't use them themselves, they could make a fortune selling them.

Since the Trading House had opened recently, the price of Divine Power had not fallen. Instead, it had risen sharply.

Aside from a few listings asking for 999,999 in cash for one Divine Power, posted by wishful thinkers hoping to get rich overnight, every listing at a normal or even somewhat high price had been snapped up by wealthy players in the game.

Since Divine Power was being consumed far faster than it was produced, it was a scarce commodity in the game. Having money didn't guarantee you could buy it.

So when the players saw how valuable the Spirit Fish were, they went wild.

Just as players were flooding toward the East Sea coast,

off the southeast side of Dragon Scale Island,

a dark cloud was slowly approaching the island. Countless shadows could vaguely be seen shifting and writhing within it.

"Are you sure the school of fish fled toward Dragon Scale Island?"

A low voice came from within the black fog. A hideous Yaksha face emerged from the murk.

"My senses can't be wrong. The fleeing fish are headed toward Dragon Scale Island." Another Yaksha face emerged from the black fog.

"Don't mess this up. These Spirit Fish are meant as an offering to Master. There can't be any mistakes!"

"I understand!"

With that, the two Yaksha faces disappeared into the black fog.

The dark cloud roiled, then sped up and swept swiftly across the sea, heading straight for the East Sea coast of Dragon Scale Island.
