Background
Demon Blade was originally a youth of the Weapon-Forging Lineage, a renowned faction of the Weapon-Forging Clan whose crafted Soul Weapons were considered at least thirty percent stronger than ordinary equivalents. During the Boundless Realm's invasion of the Weapon-Forging World, the Lineage continued fighting after other forces collapsed; it lost eight sect masters in ten days. The youth was appointed its final Sect Master shortly before the end. 106
After receiving a core fragment of the dying world's will, he learned the principles of Weapon-Forging and how to create the world's strongest weapon. He could not solve the final requirement—giving the weapon self-awareness—before the Weapon-Forging Lineage was slaughtered. Believing the Giant Blood Eye responsible for their deaths, he threw himself into the forging pool and made his own consciousness the Demon Blade's soul. 106
As a divine weapon, he crossed into the Boundless Realm and spent thousands of years hunting the entity he believed to be Blood Eye/Wisdom Eye. He chose the brutal path of absorbing death energy: massacring living beings to strengthen his blade and repeatedly challenging Wisdom Eye after every defeat. His pursuit made him an “ill omen” in Star Sea histories. 107 108
A later investigation in Dragon Scale Island's Library revealed that he had pursued the wrong enemy. The historical record indicated that Magic Eye and the invading demons, not Wisdom Eye, were responsible for the destruction of his world and clan. This revelation left him devastated after wasting millennia on a mistaken vengeance. 156
Appearance
Demon Blade's appearance changed dramatically between his weapon life and his reconstruction.
- Original weapon form — A purple blade carrying immense death energy and a self-aware consciousness. 106 107
- Blade Puppet appearance — When awakened in the Abandoned Mine, he transformed an undead skeleton into a young man with pitch-black eyes and faint flames burning within them. 105
- Reconstructed body — A 1.58-meter-tall, slightly chubby youth with large eyes and rosy cheeks; players frequently describe him as cute. 112 113
- Habits — Often walks around with dried fish in his mouth and an arrogant gait. 156 197
Personality
For most of his life as a weapon, Demon Blade was driven by guilt, hatred, and an obsessive need to avenge the Weapon-Forging Lineage. He saw the inhabitants of the Boundless Realm as invaders and treated slaughter as a means of growing powerful enough to kill Wisdom Eye. 108
After receiving a human body and living in Dark Assassin Main City, he gradually became more expressive, materialistic, and socially attached. He is easily offended by remarks about his height or appearance, but he quickly learned to exploit demand for his services and treats Divine Power as his highest practical priority. 113
His time among players softened his former single-minded hatred. He drinks with friends, watches dramas, accepts forging disciples, and regards the main city as a home worth defending even at the cost of his life. 115 183 289
Abilities & Skills
Conscious Divine Weapon
Demon Blade was forged as a weapon with an autonomous consciousness, allowing him to act without a conventional owner.
- Can manifest as a Purple Demon Blade and control it as naturally as moving a limb. 289
- Originally relied on Blade Puppets—bodies possessed and refined to endure his power—to use many of his abilities fully. 107 110
- His possession failed against players because the God-Demon Space protected their souls and caused backlash to his consciousness. 108 109
- Mu Kui's Tiger Soul Broken Blade and its tiger consciousness could resist his possession as well. 110
Death Qi and Blade Intent
Demon Blade can harvest death energy and transform it into destructive power.
- Absorbs death energy released by slaughter to increase the blade's malevolence and strength. 107 108
- Can release stored Death Qi to form a black mist blade dozens of meters long. 109
- His blade aura continues eroding enemies after impact, preventing ordinary regeneration until the aura is expelled. 289
- His blade intent projects visions of mass death, destruction, and an “Asura hell,” exerting severe psychological pressure on opponents. 289
Demon Blade Arts
His weapon knowledge includes an extensive combat and forging inheritance.
- Possesses 1,324 forms of Demon Blade Arts. 108
- Holds 876 Weapon-Forging Clan weapon-forging methods. 108
- Created the King of Forging Draw-Blade Slash, an ultimate draw-blade technique temporarily inherited by a player wielding him. 108
- His ultimate secret technique, Nether Death Body, converts a wielder's body into a giant form of Death Qi but severely endangers ordinary Blade Puppets. 110
Weapon Shell
After regaining a physical body, Demon Blade created a new method to compensate for the loss of his former weapon body.
- Manifests a massive phantom Demon Blade through weapon-forging power. 289
- Can merge the weapon with his body as armor, recreating the extraordinary durability he possessed as a divine weapon. 290
- The shell allowed him to withstand Three-Faced's all-out punch without retreating. 290
Master Forging
As a descendant of the Weapon-Forging Lineage, Demon Blade is an exceptional blacksmith and the first forging NPC in Omnipotent God.
- Can improve equipment quality and attributes far beyond mass-produced templates made from equivalent materials. 113
- Teaches players forging in a tiered curriculum ranging from Beginner to Grandmaster. 117
- Uses hammering, smelting, spiritual-energy inscription, and fusion for ordinary commissions. 113
- At his level, he can inscribe spiritual-energy nodes directly through hammer strikes without engraving tools. 296
Notable Forged Items
- Dark Pattern Sword — A Level 10 red-quality sword with Sharpness (Level 4), Hardness (Level 3), and the Flame Slash skill. It was Demon Blade's first public commission as Forging Mentor. 113

- Demonization — Accumulated demonic energy automatically demonizes the wielder and greatly boosts attributes.
- Demon Power Spread — Has a chance to infect damaged targets with corrosive demonic power.
- Three-Faced Descent — Summons three phantoms; duration depends on the wielder's stored spiritual energy. 296
