The Gods' Curse

The God of Destruction stood inside his divine residence, a fierce blaze of anger burning in his heart.

"Who would've thought Tang San would find an ally like Lin Yi? Looking at things now, if I don't come up with a few more plans, that brat might catch me off guard."

He turned to look at the God of Extreme Evil, the corner of his mouth curling into a cold smile.

"I know you're a strong one, and you have plenty of evil followers at your command. Why not let you take the credit this time?"

"I..."

The God of Extreme Evil seemed hesitant.

"Is that wise? Tang San and the others are determined to oppose you this time. One careless move, and they might wipe us all out in one fell swoop."

"Are you afraid?"

The God of Destruction's gaze grew much darker as he flicked his sleeve.

"I know Tang San has resorted to underhanded tactics. He's put all his hopes on that Lin Yi. But from what I've seen, that brat is nothing to fear. If he could win, then I'd have wasted all these years as a god."

Hearing this, the God of Extreme Evil felt a little more confident. "All right, then. He's only a First-Level God. Killing him will be a piece of cake."

The God of Destruction narrowed his eyes once more, his expression dark.

"Can't be helped."

The God of Extreme Evil smiled faintly at the God of Destruction.

"That's just my nature. I'm always straightforward, unlike certain people, who are so hypocritical and worry about preserving their dignity no matter what they do."

"What did you say?"

The God of Destruction turned his gaze on the God of Extreme Evil, his eyes suddenly razor-sharp.

"Are you saying I'm a hypocrite?"

"No, how could I dare?"

The God of Extreme Evil gave an awkward smile. "I was just muttering to myself. There's no need to get so worked up, God of Destruction. All right, I'll go make the arrangements."

As he watched the God of Extreme Evil leave to make arrangements, a trace of displeasure showed in the God of Destruction's eyes.

After the God of Extreme Evil left, the God of Destruction turned to the God of Evil, a cold smile on his lips. "Brother, just wait and see. If I lose this time, the God of Destruction will send you out next. Then we'll both be his cannon fodder."

The God of Evil turned to look at the God of Extreme Evil, his gaze darkening. "Are you planning to betray the God of Destruction?"

The God of Extreme Evil chuckled again. "Either way, it's not a bad deal. If he finds out, we'll die all the same. Fight the Sea God and the others, and we'll die even faster."

"The Sea God has always been an upright man. How could he possibly work with us? Besides, the Divine Realm isn't his alone to rule."

"I don't know why you're so stubborn."

The God of Extreme Evil shook his head again. "What you said makes sense, but have you considered this? If he tries to win us over, then our opportunity will come."

"Then let me think it over."

Seeing that the God of Evil still couldn't make up his mind, the God of Extreme Evil scoffed and shook his head. "Forget it. I'll go find the Sea God myself."

"You're not going anywhere."

The God of Destruction rushed over, his massive palm striking straight at his head.

The God of Destruction absorbed all the God of Extreme Evil's power. His divine residence and Martial Soul shattered completely, and he vanished from the world forever.

Seeing this, the God of Evil trembled. He fell to his knees before the God of Destruction. "Lord God of Destruction, please spare me."

The God of Destruction turned his gaze on him. "This had nothing to do with you in the first place. The God of Extreme Evil was far too arrogant. Don't worry. From now on, there'll be only one God of Evil in the Divine Realm, and no God of Extreme Evil. I'd already decided that only one of you could remain.
