God's Curse

The God of Destruction stood within his divine residence, a thick, burning rage smoldering in his heart.

"I truly never expected Tang San to find a helper like Lin Yi. It seems that if I don't think of a few more ways to handle this, I might very well be outmaneuvered by this brat."

He turned his head to look at the God of Extreme Evil, a cold sneer curling the corner of his mouth.

"I know you are a powerful being, and you have no shortage of wicked followers under your command. Why not let this credit go to you?"

The God of Extreme Evil appeared somewhat hesitant.

"Is that appropriate? Tang San and his group are determined this time; they are set on opposing you. If we aren't careful, they might just wipe us all out in one fell swoop."

"Are you afraid?"

The God of Destruction's gaze grew much deeper as he flicked his sleeve.

"I know Tang San is playing dirty tricks now, pinning all his hopes on that Lin Yi. But from my observations, that brat is nothing to fear. If he could actually win, then I would have spent all these years as a god in vain."

Hearing this, the God of Extreme Evil felt a bit more confident. "Very well, then. He is only a First-Level God; killing him will be a piece of cake."

"Do not be careless."

The God of Destruction narrowed his eyes once more, his expression carrying a sense of gravity.

The God of Destruction swept his gaze directly toward the God of Extreme Evil and let out a huff.

"By speaking so plainly, aren't you just letting others see your ambition? God of Extreme Evil, it seems you are truly wicked enough to be transparent about it."

"It cannot be helped."

The God of Extreme Evil gave the God of Destruction a faint smile.

"My temperament is just like this. I am very direct in everything I do, unlike those hypocrites who are always thinking about preserving their own dignity."

"What did you say?"

The God of Destruction turned his gaze toward the God of Extreme Evil, his eyes becoming exceptionally sharp.

"Are you saying that I am a hypocrite?"

"No, how could I dare?"

Regarding this, the God of Extreme Evil gave a sheepish smile. "I was just rambling a bit; why must the God of Destruction be so tense? Very well, I shall go and make the arrangements."

Watching the God of Extreme Evil leave to make his preparations, a trace of displeasure flickered in the God of Destruction's eyes.

That brat was clearly speaking in metaphors to insult him, yet he remained so opportunistic. If he failed this time, it would be the perfect chance to discipline him.

After the God of Extreme Evil went out, he turned to look at the God of Evil, a cold sneer on his lips. "Old friend, just wait and see. If I lose this time, you will surely be the one sent out by the God of Destruction, and by then, we will both be his cannon fodder."

"Destruction is not our master; why must we listen to him? Actually, in my opinion, if we want to make arrangements regarding the God of Destruction, there is one thing we must do."

"What?"

"Secretly cross the border to help the Sea God and his group, but reach an agreement with them that after the deed is done, they must split this God Realm with us equally."

"You certainly think things through, but do you think Destruction is a fool who cannot see your motives?"

"That is no longer my concern."

The God of Extreme Evil chuckled again. "In any case, this deal is not a loss. If he discovers it, I die anyway; fighting the Sea God and his group would only lead to a faster death."

Hearing the words of the God of Extreme Evil, the God of Evil's resolve began to waver.

"The Sea God has always been an upright man; how could he possibly cooperate with us? Besides, the God Realm is not for him to decide alone."

"I don't know why you are so pedantic."

The God of Extreme Evil shook his head again. "Everything you said is reasonable, but have you considered that he might want to win us over? Once he wants to win us over, our opportunity will arrive."

"Then let me think about it a while longer."

Seeing that the God of Evil still could not make a decision, the God of Extreme Evil sneered and shook his head. "Forget it, I will go find the Sea God myself."

"You are going nowhere."

The God of Destruction lunged forward, his massive palm striking directly at his head.

All the power of the God of Extreme Evil was absorbed by the God of Destruction, and his divine residence and martial soul were completely shattered, causing him to vanish from this world forever.

Seeing this, the God of Evil trembled and knelt directly before the God of Destruction. "Lord Destruction, please spare me."

Destruction swept his gaze toward him. "This matter had nothing to do with you; the God of Extreme Evil was simply too arrogant. Rest assured, from now on there will only be one God of Evil in the God Realm, and no God of Extreme Evil. In truth, I had already determined that only one of you could exist. His rebellion today has merely given me the chance to eliminate him."
