Background / History

Tang Ya initially served as the Tang Sect’s Sect Master and sought to use the sect’s Shrek Academy recommendation quota rather than let it go unused. She was present with Beibei when Huo Yuhao enrolled at Shrek Academy. 1 2

At the academy gates, she was bound to the Blue Enchantress System, which identified Lin Ye as her exclusive fated person and assigned her a main quest tied to him. Her first B-rank assignment required her to guide a new student to the dormitory and clean their room. She chose Lin Ye after seeing the system’s peach-heart marker above him. 2 3

Tang Ya eagerly cleaned Lin Ye’s dormitory despite his objections. A slip on the soapy floor caused an accidental kiss, which raised her Soul Power. After completing the cleaning task, her Blue Silver Grass evolved into the Blue Silver Emperor; overwhelmed by the result, she embraced Lin Ye and credited him as her “lucky star.” 3 4
