Background / History
Tang Hao was a member of the Clear Sky Sect and the elder brother of Tang Xiao. He was also Tang Yuehua's brother and fathered Tang San. At some point, he lived as a blacksmith in Holy Soul Village, where Tang San grew up. 5 36 39
Wang Dong'er identifies Tang Hao as the man who ambushed the former Pope of Martial Soul Hall, failed to report the incident to the Clear Sky Sect, and subsequently caused the sect and its affiliated clans to suffer severe losses. She further states that the former sect leader, Tang Zhen, died in anger over Tang Hao's actions. 36
Tang Hao was connected to Ah Yin, the Blue Silver Emperor. His ninth soul ring was the blood-colored, hundred-thousand-year ring sacrificed by Ah Yin. He concealed Ah Yin's Seed of Life in a stone cave near Holy Soul Village and left her 100,000-Year Blue Silver Emperor Right Leg Bone in a hidden iron box. 37 39

He is proud, easily provoked, and willing to use intimidation and hostage-taking to obtain what he wants. During his confrontation with Wang Dong'er, he presses her for the secret behind her third soul ring and threatens Xiao Wu when Wang Dong'er refuses to cooperate. 36
Despite his brutality, Tang Hao fears death and regrets unresolved matters involving Ah Yin, Tang San, and his enemies. Faced with Wang Dong'er's Sea God-powered assault, he attempts to escape and later fights desperately to survive. 37 38

After Tang San loses Xiao Wu and Wang Dong'er's friendship and faints from emotional distress, Tang Hao emerges from the shadows in fury. He follows the two girls as they leave Shrek Academy and prepares to retaliate for his son. 35
Confrontation with Wang Dong'er
Tang Hao ambushes Wang Dong'er and Xiao Wu in a bamboo forest, subduing Xiao Wu with pressure while questioning Wang Dong'er about her unprecedented three ten-thousand-year soul rings. Wang Dong'er identifies him as Tang San's father, insults his history with the Clear Sky Sect, and reveals her Clear Sky Hammer. 36
Believing Wang Dong'er to be a Clear Sky Sect member with someone powerful protecting her, Tang Hao decides that neither she nor her hidden protector can be allowed to live. He reveals all nine soul rings and attacks with full force. 37
Death
Wang Dong'er's Sea God Trident mark activates and repels Tang Hao's attack. Empowered by the Sea God's Divine Sense and the Sea God Trident, she uses Indefinite Storm to restrain him and Never Return to pursue and kill him. 37
Tang Hao detonates all nine soul rings and launches the Great Sumeru Hammer in a final effort to survive, but the Sea God Trident breaks through his attack. His meridians and organs are destroyed by the backlash, and he dies while looking toward Holy Soul Village. 38
After his body releases two ten-thousand-year spirit bones, Wang Dong'er takes them and buries his remains on a hillside. 38
