At that moment, a team member brought an elderly man before Outcast. He was so frail that he trembled with every step.

"Captain, this old man is the longest-serving miner in this mine and the representative chosen by the other miners."

"Sir, come sit here."

The man nodded and sat down beside Outcast.

No one knew what they talked about, only that they spoke for a long time. In the end, all the young and able-bodied Infected miners chose to leave with Rhodes Island.

Although Colin and his men believed they were being discreet, Kanna saw everything clearly.

She crossed her arms and leaned against a branch, appearing completely defenseless, but in truth, she had everything under control.

"Little girl, we're in a hurry. Could you please move aside?" Once his men were ready, Colin spoke in a sinister tone, trying to draw all of Kanna's attention onto himself.

Just as his words were about to end, several arrows suddenly flew toward Kanna from behind him.

If she had been an ordinary person, she would have been thinking about how to answer him, naturally reacting a beat too slowly and getting struck by the arrows.

Unfortunately for them, they had encountered Kanna, an utterly unreasonable little dragon whose combat power nearly reached the heavens.

Borrowing that force, Kanna shot toward the convoy like a meteor.

Before the first two men could react, Kanna had already appeared in front of them. She reached out, grabbed one man's leg in each hand, and swung both of them around.

Amid screams, the two lucky men were smashed into their companions behind them, conveniently blocking most of the incoming arrows for Kanna.

Kanna did not stop. She slammed into the front of the first vehicle, then exerted force, sending the entire vehicle hurtling backward into the people and vehicles behind it.

The chain reaction continued all the way to the end of the convoy. Quite a few lucky men hiding between the vehicles were painlessly taken away in an instant.

Colin climbed up from the ground in a wretched state. Kanna's sudden attack had greatly exceeded his expectations. His men were elite soldiers capable of contending with entire military formations, yet a single strike from her had already killed or wounded some of them. More importantly, his carefully assembled convoy of off-road vehicles had been reduced to nothing in an instant.

He could no longer spare a thought for how much money he had lost from the destroyed vehicles. Having seen the power of the upper class, he understood that the "child" before him was a true monster.

Seeing the crackling lightning appearing around her, he suddenly thought of the pillar of white light that had risen into the sky from his manor.

"You went to my manor?" he asked despite himself.

A several-meter-long "laser sword" strengthened by Palm Thunder swept lightly through the air in Kanna's hand. Any enemy it touched was instantly cut in two.

Some of the soldiers who had been bisected at the waist let out miserable wails before they died.

"Oh! You saw it? Hehe, I did that!" Kanna casually used Palm Thunder to deal with the guard beside him, then walked over and smiled.

Though Kanna appeared to be smiling, Colin could clearly see that there was not the slightest ripple in the girl's eyes. Her silver-white vertical pupils were like those of a god in the heavens gazing down upon the lives on earth: cold and merciless.

"Monster!" Knowing he could not escape, Colin cursed at Kanna.

Kanna did not care to explain anything to trash like him. She did not know how the boy in the vehicle was doing, so she intended to finish these people quickly and take him to meet up with Outcast.
