History

When Kanna first encountered Rhodes Island, she regarded it as one of the few “Edens” on Terra. The organization accepted her after Outcast's group brought her aboard, then conducted medical examinations and considered her for Operator testing. 2 3

Before its later diplomatic gains, Rhodes Island depended on work for larger powers and disaster-relief operations to secure public support and improve its reputation. After the Chernobog campaign and its Iberian cooperation, it developed into an internationally recognized organization with greater influence and recruitment capacity. 105

Following the Chernobog operation, Rhodes Island supplied Patriot's refugees, arranged medical treatment and personnel exchanges, and offered former Reunion cadres non-staff Operator positions. Some defectors faced hostility from personnel affected by the Reunion Movement's earlier attacks and accepted outside assignments after joining. 81 101 116
