• Emperor Xu Jiawei opened the tournament, and Ma Xiaotao led Shrek Academy to a swift victory over Tianling Academy with Phoenix Meteor Shower.
• Xiao Yan brought only Ning Tian, Wu Feng, and Xiao Xiao to compete for Skywater Academy, and Wu Feng and Xiao Xiao defeated Netherworld Academy while he played the Fuxi Zither.

Xiao Yan led Skywater Academy to victory over Shrek and the Sun Moon Team, then helped Wu Feng awaken her transformed martial soul. He visited the dying Mu En, rejected leadership of Shrek, and left with the Radiant Dragon Core as Mu En entrusted Lexuan with the academy’s future.

• Xu Jiujiu fired the overloaded Destruction Giant Cannon at Xiao Yan, but his Water-Fire Taiji Diagram left him unharmed, and she surrendered the Star Luo Team’s matches.
• Xiao Yan defeated Ma Xiaotao and the Shrek Team in the semifinal, prompting Shrek to forfeit the remaining matches and sending Skywater Academy to the finals.
• Xiao Yan confronted Yan Shaozhe over Ma Xiaotao’s injuries, defeated him with the Fuxi Zither, and forced him to apologize.

After reuniting with his family and allies, he founded the Fuxi Dao Sect and set out to evolve the Nine Treasures Glazed Pagoda and spread Soul Spirits.

• Mu En appointed Zhang Lexuan as the next Sea God Pavilion Master, ordered Shrek to stay neutral in the coming war, and departed for the Undead Demiplane with Electrolux.
