Background

Liu Erlong encounters Deng Tianxin while he is surrounded by thugs on the road. She intervenes without hesitation, defeats the group, and learns that he is Bibi Dong's personal disciple. Although initially curious about his dragon horns, she becomes protective of him after discovering that he is travelling alone. Deng Tianxin also detects that she carries a fragment of the God of Love's Origin. 22

She joins Deng Tianxin on his journey toward Heaven Dou City. While travelling together, she discovers that physical closeness to him substantially improves her spirit-power circulation and cultivation efficiency; one night of cultivation while holding him produces results comparable to a full day of ordinary training. During their journey, Liu Erlong protects Deng Tianxin from a seven-thousand-year One-Eyed Violent Bear. His Domain of Eternal Love calms the beast, allowing the pair to survive the encounter and eventually use it as a mount. 32 34

At an abandoned village, Liu Erlong witnesses Deng Tianxin retrieve and absorb a God of Love fragment. After travelling independently for some time, Liu Erlong arrives at Spirit Hall shortly after Bibi Dong's return.
