Background / History
Tang Hao travelled the Douluo Continent with his elder brother, Tang Xiao, and A-Yin. Both brothers developed feelings for A-Yin, while Tang Hao showed particular interest in her. At this point, the brothers had already reached the Spirit Douluo realm. 10
When Lan Lingcang arrived to reclaim A-Yin for the Blue Silver Clan, Tang Hao correctly inferred that A-Yin and Lan Lingcang were soul beasts. Although Lan Lingcang initially spared the brothers and ordered them to leave, Tang Hao and Tang Xiao chose to attack, seeking A-Yin's hundred-thousand-year spirit ring and spirit bone. 13 14
Lan Lingcang repelled the brothers' combined assault and accused them of acquiring their numerous high-level soul bones through the abuse and killing of soul beasts. The accusation further damaged A-Yin's view of them. 15 When a 200,000-year heavenly tribulation descended on the battlefield, Tang Hao and Tang Xiao escaped together. 16
After returning to the Clear Sky Sect, Tang Hao and Tang Xiao reported their encounter with A-Yin and the Blue Silver Emperor. Despite their personal feelings, they remained aligned with the sect's plan to pursue A-Yin's spirit ring and bone. 20
Tang Hao later joined the Clear Sky Sect's expedition into the Star Dou Great Forest. He survived the disastrous operation and the Blue Silver Emperor Sovereign's 300,000-year heavenly tribulation. In its aftermath, he warned Tang Xiao that Lan Lingcang could not be provoked lightly. 32 38 Following the death of the sect's First Elder and Tang Lan's collapse, Tang Hao participated in discussions to seek Tang Chen as the sect's remaining hope. 43
Personality
Tang Hao displays sharp instincts, identifying A-Yin and Lan Lingcang's soul-beast identities before they were openly confirmed. 13 He is also decisive in combat, choosing to join Tang Xiao in attacking Lan Lingcang despite A-Yin's objections and the opponent's superior position. 14
His attachment to A-Yin conflicts with his sect loyalty and desire for power. He returns to the Clear Sky Sect after their defeat and remains involved in its actions against A-Yin. 20 However, the destruction caused by Lan Lingcang's tribulation makes him markedly more cautious, leading him to advise against further provocation. 38
