Background / History

Di Tian is a descendant of one of the nine Great Dragon Kings who served under the Dragon God. The Asura God identifies his Black Dragon bloodline as exceptionally concentrated 86.

As ruler of the Star Dou Great Forest, he leads the fierce beasts dwelling around the Lake of Life while serving the slumbering Silver Dragon King as his “Master.” His authority over the forest does not extend above hers: he kneels when awakening her and obeys her commands during her meeting with Lan Lingcang 39 86 87.

Before his alliance with Lan Lingcang, Di Tian had flown around the world and discovered other continents inhabited by soul masters and soul beasts. The Sun Moon Continent left the strongest impression on him 45.

Di Tian’s humanoid form resembles a tall, slender middle-aged man with a cold, stern face. He wears black robes and retains visible dragon features 39.

Personality

Di Tian initially judges other clans by their strength and practical value. He refuses to help the newly born Blue Silver Emperor because he considers the Blue Silver clan too weak and its healing abilities inferior to those of Bi Ji’s Emerald Swan clan. He watches the first tribulation coldly, expecting Lan Lingcang to fail 5.

His pride is tempered by an ability to recognize superior strength. After his Dragon God Claw only draws against Lan Lingcang’s elemental attack, he openly concedes that a prolonged battle would end in his defeat. He later approaches Lan Lingcang for help with his own tribulation, explicitly acknowledging that Lan Lingcang has become stronger than him 55 82.

Although he advocates attacking the human soul-master world, his fear of the God Realm limits his confidence. Lan Lingcang’s proposal to secure an independent future for soul beasts gives him a new sense of hope; the prospect of healing the Silver Dragon King strengthens that hope further 45 87.
