Background / History

The Dragon God was slain in the ancient God Realm war after leading Beast Gods against the human gods. Its power was divided between the Golden Dragon King, who inherited its body and strength, and the Silver Dragon King, who inherited its elemental power and divine soul. 87

Before its fall, the Dragon God established the heavenly tribulation system. It intended the tribulations to pressure soul beasts into producing a new Dragon God, but this system became a near-insurmountable obstacle for soul beasts seeking godhood. 81 87

Lan Lingcang encounters the Dragon God in a dream-like void. The Dragon God is startled by Lan Lingcang's limitless cultivation potential and his possession of the Silver Dragon King and Dark Demon Evil God Tiger bloodlines. After being confronted over the suffering caused by heavenly tribulations, it directs him to Dragon Valley, where its Heart and remnant power were left behind. 81
