At the valley, Lin Chuan grew closer to Dugu Yan and Zhu Zhuqing while learning of Spirit Hall’s hunt in the Star Dou Great Forest and planning to seek the Strength Clan’s forging expertise.

• Lin Chuan refused Bibi Dong’s offer to join Spirit Hall, watched Martial Soul Hall Academy defeat Thunder Academy beside her, and told Shrek he trusted them to win the final.
• Shrek defeated Martial Soul Hall Academy, but Bibi Dong ordered them arrested over Salas’s death until Tang Hao arrived and forced Spirit Hall to let them leave with their rewards.
• Lin Chuan distributed the three Spirit Bones, giving Zhu Zhuqing one, Tang San another, and trading the third to Ning Fengzhi for resources before Tang San left with Tang Hao.

As Tang San fought to earn a path out and Lin Chuan tempered his soul, Bibi Dong overcame her Rakshasa trial and Tang Hao failed to enter the city.

• Tang San agreed to reunite the affiliated families against Spirit Hall, then met Titan and asked the Strength Clan to forge a Soul Tool component from his blueprint.
• Lin Chuan gave Tang San a communication Soul Tool before Tang San left for Slaughter City, where Hu Liena, Xie Yue, and Yan pursued him under Bibi Dong’s orders.
• Huyan Zhen and Tuoba Xi joined the Golden Generation’s pursuit, but Lin Chuan arrived in time to protect Tang San from their forces and Bibi Dong’s ambush.
• Lin Chuan used the Star Shuttle to escape with Tang San, but the Asura God redirected them and separated them in Slaughter City.

Lin Chuan escaped the spiritual darkness, reunited with Tang San and the women who had come looking for him, and revealed how he had absorbed Asura God's power. The group entered Hell Road together, where they defeated the Dark Gold Three-Headed Bat King as the Slaughter King began plotting against them.

• Lin Chuan absorbed Asura God's power from the phantoms in Mind's Dark Side, destroyed the self-aware shadow of Tang Chen, and escaped to Slaughter City.
• Tang San killed Yan and Xie Yue in the arena, while outside Slaughter City Chen Xin and Dugu Bo helped Xiao Wu, Zhu Zhuqing, Ning Rongrong, Dugu Yan, and Ye Lingling evade Spirit Hall's blockade and enter the city.
• Lin Chuan rescued the five women from Fallen Ones and reunited with them, then found Tang San, who had earned enough victories to challenge Hell Road.
• Lin Chuan told Tang San and the others about his transformation and Divine Abyss, while the Slaughter King offered them titles and secretly poisoned Hell Road with Rakshasa God medicine.
• Lin Chuan led Tang San and the five women into Hell Road, where Lin Chuan identified the drug-enhanced Dark Gold Three-Headed Bat King and the group defeated it through coordinated attacks.

• Lin Chuan defeated the Ten Headed Fierce Yang Serpent, subdued the Slaughter King with a mental strike, and discovered that Tang Chen’s soul was trapped inside him.
• Tang Chen awoke and reunited with Tang San, then joined the group on Hell Road as Lin Chuan helped treat the poison weakening him.
• Lin Chuan refined the serpent’s inner core into a pill that burned away Tang Chen’s accumulated toxins, and the group passed through the gate out of Slaughter City.
• Tang Hao and the others welcomed Tang San and Tang Chen outside Slaughter City, but Bibi Dong arrived with Spirit Hall’s forces and confronted them.
