Douluo Star! I am separated from you by several star domains? Wait for me!
Space-Time Dragon God Star!
Yang Teng slowly opened his eyes. What met his gaze was a starry sky so brilliant it felt unreal.
Yang Teng looked down at his hands. They were no longer human hands; silver-white dragon scales covered his forearms. As he curled his fingertips slightly, the space itself rippled visibly, as if it were made of paper.
"Awake?"
The voice came from the depths of the palace, carrying an innate sense of majesty.
Yang Teng raised his head and saw the Space-Time Dragon God King, a being half-dragon and half-human.
That was his father.
The Space-Time Dragon God King did not appear in his full dragon form.
"You have slept for a long time."
The Space-Time Dragon God King said.
Yang Teng's brain raced. Scenes from Earth flashed through his mind. As a corporate slave, he had worked himself to death at his post, only to open his eyes and transmigrate to a God Star in the Guandu Star Domain.
And he was dozens of star domains away from Douluo!
"My head felt heavy, so I slept a bit longer!"
He was now the only son of the Space-Time Dragon God King.
"I have caused you worry, Father!" Yang Teng said.
The Space-Time Dragon God King nodded slightly and turned to walk toward the palace terrace.
This planet was saturated with immortal spiritual energy; every breath was a process of cleansing the body, something Yang Teng had long since grown accustomed to.
"Look."
The Space-Time Dragon God King raised his hand and pointed toward the starry sky beyond the God Star.
Yang Teng followed his finger and looked out. In the distant star domains, he saw several blurred points of light.
Those points of light were different from ordinary stars; the radiance they emitted carried the laws of the universe.
"Those are the seven surrounding God Realms."
The Space-Time Dragon God King's voice was calm as he spoke to Yang Teng.
"Third-Rate God Realm, Frost Snow God Realm, Clear Wood God Realm, Congo God Realm, Ghost Forest God Realm, Phoenix Treasure God Realm, and West Wind God Realm. These seven God Realms..."
He paused for a moment.
"Are too scattered."
Yang Teng understood the meaning behind those words.
"I intend to bring them all into the orbit of the God Star."
The Space-Time Dragon God King spread his arms.
"To build space-time channels, connecting every God Realm, making them vassals of my God Star, and establishing a dynasty of gods."
"A kingdom with the God Star at its center."
Yang Teng's heart skipped a beat.
Establishing such space-time channels was no easy feat. Although the God Star could, to a certain extent, defy the laws of the universe, this path would not be smooth.
Only by becoming a god on a plane managed by a specific God Realm could one gradually gain the recognition of the universe. This was still just a hypothesis, but Yang Teng was willing to be the one to put it into practice.
Once feasible, his father, the Space-Time Dragon God King, would certainly use this method to incorporate the other God Realms and achieve his goal.
Thinking this, Yang Teng stepped forward to request permission.
"Father."
"I request to go to a God Realm."
The Space-Time Dragon God King looked down at him.
"Which one?"
"Douluo God Realm."
This thought had been surfacing in Yang Teng's mind constantly.
He came from Earth, and in his understanding, there existed another entity in the universe he was incredibly familiar with: the "Douluo God Realm."
Or rather, the higher plane it governed: "Douluo Star."
Those stories about spirit masters, spirit beasts, and god positions were things he had watched since he was a child. Sea God, Asura God, the Gods of Good and Evil—those names were etched deep into his memory.
The Space-Time Dragon God King watched Yang Teng silently. Those spiral pupils seemed capable of piercing through any disguise. The silence lasted for ten full breaths.
"You are very familiar with that place."
It was not a question.
Yang Teng did not deny it. Before his father, denial was meaningless.
"Yes."
The Space-Time Dragon God King did not ask for the reason. He merely lifted his head slightly, his silver mane surging amidst the starlight, and spoke a sentence that made Yang Teng's entire body tremble.
"Deep within your divine soul, there is the aura of that world. Strange, isn't it?"
Yang Teng clenched his fingers, which were covered in dragon scales. He said nothing, for there was no need.
"Go. Fulfill this path on behalf of your father."
The Space-Time Dragon God King patted his shoulder, his face filled with gratification.
"I will personally escort you across the star domain."
Yang Teng looked up.
The Space-Time Dragon God King had already turned and walked toward the depths of the palace, leaving only his final words drifting in the starlight.
In truth, what Yang Teng had always wanted was never for the Douluo God Realm to become a vassal of the Space-Time Dragon Star.
What he wanted was for the Douluo God Realm to undergo a complete metamorphosis—to evolve from a God Realm into a God Star.
An independent, complete twin God Star capable of gazing across the void at the Space-Time Dragon Star.
This was the true purpose behind his petition to head to Douluo.
Crossing the distance of countless galaxies required the construction of a temporary space-time passage. Maintaining such a passage consumed a terrifying amount of energy, and in the entire God Star, only the Space-Time Dragon God King himself could sustain it.
Yang Teng stood on the edge platform of the God Star, taking one last look back at this incredible planet.
"Let us go."
The voice of the Space-Time Dragon God King came from above. He had fully revealed his true form—a colossal dragon.
In the next instant, the starry sky shattered.
A massive, spiral-shaped rift appeared before the Space-Time Dragon God King. The edges of the rift continuously collapsed and reformed, revealing a shimmering, iridescent passage within.
This was not a simple spatial jump, but a path forcibly torn open within the interlayer of time and space.
Then, everything fell into silence.
The end of the space-time passage opened.
Yang Teng saw the Douluo God Realm.
It was a continent suspended in the starry sky, faintly protected by divine power of various colors; presumably, this was the energy provided by the God Realm Central.
At this moment, within the Douluo God Realm, inside the Central Temple of the God Realm Committee, Sea God Poseidon suddenly opened his eyes.
The Asura God stood up from his throne at the exact same instant, the Asura Sword at his waist unsheathing itself by three inches.
The God of Goodness and the God of Evil exchanged a glance, their pupils contracting simultaneously.
"Something is coming."
"To dare appear with such insolence—does it hold my Douluo God Realm in no regard!"
Before they could make any move, the sky of the Douluo God Realm split open, shaped like a giant eye.
Every deity looked up and witnessed a scene that would be branded into the depths of their divine souls: the sky seemed to be torn open from the outside by a pair of hands, and from the rift surged space-time turbulence that did not belong to this world.
And in the deepest part of that rift, a giant dragon, indescribable in words, was coiled within.
Its body obscured more than half of the sky.
The dragon's scales reflected starlight never before seen in the Douluo God Realm, and the space-time ripples stirred by its unfolding wings caused the entire atmosphere of the God Realm to tremble.
It was not an attack; merely its existence alone caused the laws of the Douluo God Realm to begin to groan under the unbearable strain.
"Dragon God?"
Almost all the ancient deities who had experienced that great war of the past uttered this name in unison, for in their memories, only that member of the dragon race existed.
But after looking at each other, they shook their heads in tacit agreement; both the aura and appearance were completely different, and besides, the "Golden Dragon King" was still suppressed even now.
On the back of the giant dragon, a youth covered in silver-white dragon scales slowly stood up.
He looked down at the Douluo God Realm beneath his feet, the corners of his mouth curling upward slightly.
"Familiar Douluo Star!"
"Even if I hadn't transmigrated here, I still would have found my way back!"
