Background / History

Qian Renxue and her grandfather, Qian Daoliu, find Poseinan after his arrival on Douluo Planet. Considering him someone she has saved, she demands that he recognize her as his “big sister.” When he refuses, she defeats him with her superior cultivation and makes him her little lackey. 4

Following her father’s death, Qian Renxue is devastated by what she sees as Bibi Dong’s rejection. She cries alone, believing herself to be unwanted by both parents. Poseinan comforts her and proposes a bet: she must claim to be in love with a low-powered commoner, while he predicts Bibi Dong’s angry reaction will prove that her mother cares. 5

Bibi Dong’s furious response gives Qian Renxue hope that her mother does care for her, despite the harshness of her expression. She delays her promise to have Qian Daoliu send Poseinan to Sea God Island because she wants him to remain nearby and help her reconcile with Bibi Dong. 6

After hearing Poseinan describe the God Realm, Qian Renxue becomes eager to visit it herself. She wishes to meet Hela, the Goddess of Death, in hopes of resurrecting her father. 6
