Tiamat tilted her head, pondered for a moment, and a faint look of understanding appeared in her eyes.
She remembered. When she had first met Lan Ze, he had possessed not only Divine Era Magic, but even a contract with a goddess.
But after her "efforts," she had successfully licked away both the contract and the magic on Lan Ze. After that, the only scent on him had been the one she left behind.
Nearly four days had passed, and she had completely forgotten about it.
Seeing that Tiamat seemed to have recalled something, Lan Ze took the chance to explain further. "After leaving the Dreamscape, I met the goddess I had made a contract with again. We later went to her temple together. Maybe I accidentally picked up her scent on the way."
Tiamat gently shook her head.
Lan Ze's face was reflected in her Red Star Pupils as she softly said, "The scent on you is very strong."
"It wouldn't be there without intimate contact."
Lan Ze's heart skipped a beat.
He had never expected Tiamat to be a... detective?
She could notice even such details?
After they returned, Ishtar had indeed made a few intimate gestures. The strong scent Tiamat mentioned must have been picked up then.
If he married Mother of All, wouldn't any tiny sign of cheating get him caught red-handed in the future?
Then again, if he really married Mother of All, what the hell would he need to cheat for?
Mother of All was number one in the world!
"Bad child. I hate liars," she said softly.
Almost the instant her voice fell, Lan Ze felt the ground trembling faintly. Then, in the next moment, a semi-transparent vine shot out from the earth, wrapped around his legs in an instant, and lifted him into the air.
The transparent vine flung Lan Ze away. After circling through the air, it wound around his body and delivered him back before Tiamat.
Though dizzy and disoriented, Lan Ze could still clearly see the woman's adorable, flawless pale face. Just as when they first met, she wore no adornments whatsoever. Two locks of teal hair covered her chest, yet they could not conceal her overwhelming curves.
"Mother... what are you trying to do?" Lan Ze struggled to break free from the vine, but whether Tiamat had done something to it or not, he could not break free with his strength at all.
"Bad child. Must be punished," Tiamat said softly.
"Your scent must be completely removed."
"W-Wait... what are you going to do?!"
Tiamat gently embraced Lan Ze, then pressed her soft pink lips against his again. Lan Ze had still been struggling, shouting, "Let me go," but once Tiamat brought her soft lips close, he stopped resisting.
A token struggle was enough. It would be troublesome if Mother of All actually let him go.
Being restrained was a little uncomfortable... but kissing was not uncomfortable at all.
This was amazing!
After an unknown amount of time, Tiamat pulled her little mouth away. A shy flush seemed to color her face.
"Mother... can you let me go now?"
Tiamat gently shook her head. "Not yet."
After she spoke, her sexy body, which had originally only been a little larger than Lan Ze's, slowly began to grow.
Within this Dreamscape world, she could consciously control her body as she pleased, including its size. At that moment, her body doubled in size, and she raised a hand.
The transparent vine wrapped around Lan Ze quietly vanished. Before he could react, she reached out and tightly hugged her child against her chest.
This time, no matter how Lan Ze shouted, "Mother, loosen up a little, I can't breathe," Tiamat did not let go.
She intended to cover the scent of the other goddesses on him with her own. Until she completed that task, the Creation Mother Goddess had no intention of releasing him.
After an unknown amount of time, Lan Ze went from enjoying himself to having his cheeks turn red from suffocation. Finally, when Tiamat released him, he swayed twice on the ground before collapsing outright.
Tiamat reacted quickly and hurriedly supported Lan Ze.
"Mother... please go a little easier next time," Lan Ze said weakly.
If he really croaked like this, it would probably be the most ridiculous death he had suffered in years.
Suffocated to death in Tiamat's embrace...
It might look enviable, but if he really died that way, it would be hard to laugh about it.
"Aaaa?" Tiamat blinked innocently.
So now she was pretending she could not understand him... Lan Ze silently held his forehead.
"Forget it. I'll try not to come into contact with other goddesses next time."
He had figured it out. Mother of All did not want him touching any deity other than her.
The Creation Mother Goddess was terrifyingly powerful, yet beneath that overwhelming strength, her world was tiny, and she possessed so little. Thus, she did not want even that little to be taken from her.
This woman was so gentle and seemed overflowing with motherly love, but in truth, she lacked a sense of security. Even now, she feared that her child would leave her.
Sometimes, Lan Ze thought that if this were an online game, the Tiamat faction's player roster would probably already be full.
"Aaaa."
When Tiamat's voice sounded beside him again, Lan Ze barely recovered from the near-death-by-cleavage incident and asked, "Do you want me to keep telling you about what I experienced outside?"
Tiamat nodded gently, anticipation faintly visible in her beautiful Red Star Pupils.
Lan Ze thought for a moment, then simply continued describing his experiences in reality.
For example, metal contraptions one could sit in instead of walking, or televisions one could watch while lying at home. In short, he told her about all sorts of things that were commonplace to a modern person like him, and Tiamat listened with great interest.
"AaaaAaa (What does a television that can show images look like?)"
"It's a thin rectangular machine that plays moving images on its screen," Lan Ze explained.
"Aaaa (Why do the images move?)"
Lan Ze froze.
He looked into Tiamat's eyes, but for a moment, he did not know how to explain it.
He looked up at Tiamat's sparkling eyes and fell silent for a moment. "If you can leave this world someday, I'll take you to see what a television looks like."
As for now... he truly did not know how to explain it to Tiamat.
After all, he could not display the image of a television from his mind for Tiamat to see, and she would not understand a verbal explanation either.
Clang.
Just as that thought flashed through Lan Ze's mind, he suddenly heard the heavy sound of metal beside him.
He turned toward the source of the loud noise, and a machine with a metallic sheen appeared in his view. Its true form... was that not a television?!
...What was going on?
Staring at the machine before him, Lan Ze was completely stunned.
The television he had just imagined in his mind looked exactly like this.
He had only imagined it for a moment, yet this thing had actually appeared?!
Lan Ze's heart stirred slightly as he suddenly thought of a possibility.
...Could everything he imagined in his mind become real?
If the things in his mind could materialize, then if he imagined bikini-clad beauties playing volleyball on a beach, would that mean—
Just as that thought occurred to him, his train of thought abruptly cut off.
Several beautiful girls in bikinis really appeared in Lan Ze's field of vision, playing beach volleyball.
"Aaaa?"
At the same time, Tiamat's puzzled voice came from beside him.
After Merlin returned to Uruk, he saw Gilgamesh still hard at work.
He patiently waited until Gilgamesh had finished issuing an order before speaking.
"My king, I have returned."
Gilgamesh lifted his eyes and looked at the swollen bump on Merlin's forehead. His usually arrogant red eyes now held a trace of confusion. "What happened to your forehead?"
Upon hearing that, Merlin immediately sighed and covered his forehead. "That mother flicked my forehead once, and it ended up like this."
Gilgamesh's lips twitched almost imperceptibly.
"My king?" Merlin noticed it.
"Were you just laughing at me?"
Gilgamesh looked down at Merlin and said indifferently, "I would not mock you over something like this. Facing that mother, returning safely is already enough, is it not?"
Merlin's gaze was full of resentment. "But you clearly are laughing right now."
Gilgamesh snorted coldly. "If I say I will not laugh, then I will not laugh."
As he spoke, he glanced at Merlin's forehead again, then casually turned his face away, barely holding it together.
A moment later, he looked at Merlin again and asked seriously, "What do you think of that mother's strength?"
Merlin pondered for a moment. "If she is serious, no one can stop her."
Gilgamesh fell silent.
He did not believe Merlin was lying.
His Clairvoyance allowed him to see the future, and long ago, he had already seen his own future.
However, though he knew the course of the future, he did not know exactly what would happen.
Now it seemed that the one capable of driving him, Uruk, and Humanity's Order itself into a desperate situation was likely Tiamat.
That fellow called Lan Ze had truly brought back some critically important intelligence.
"How is Lan Ze now?" Gilgamesh asked again.
In his Clairvoyance, Lan Ze was the sole variable. In the future he had originally seen, there had been no one named "Lan Ze."
That was why Lan Ze had caught his attention a little.
Only a little, though.
In truth, he did not think Lan Ze could soothe Tiamat. But Merlin had proposed this plan before; rather than doing nothing, it was better to give it everything they had. At least then, they would have no regrets.
"He gets along very well with Tiamat," Merlin said.
Gilgamesh slowly nodded. "That is enough."
"If Tiamat is willing to let him enter the Dreamscape, it means she acknowledges him. As for how far he can go, that depends on him."
"They have a very good relationship," Merlin said with mixed feelings as he recalled what he had just seen.
The incubus did not understand the feelings of horny men. He did not know that horny men could fear nothing, let their morals follow a pretty face, and feel absolutely no fear toward Tiamat.
"A very good relationship..." Gilgamesh nodded thoughtfully.
"In that case, if he nurtures their relationship a little more, he should be able to barely soothe Mother in the future."
"No, I do not think he needs to keep nurturing his relationship with Tiamat. Their relationship is already very good," Merlin said, thinking that if they nurtured it any further, they would probably have children in there.
Perhaps feeling that Gilgamesh did not understand, Merlin continued, "I saw him sleeping with his head on Mother's lap. Mother seemed very dependent on him."
Gilgamesh froze slightly, and a flash of astonishment crossed his sharp red eyes.
Only after a long while did he slowly calm down again.
Honestly, Merlin's words were difficult for Gilgamesh to believe. That was the mother of creation, everyone's mother. If that boy truly had such a close relationship with Mother... and even developed that kind of relationship with her in the future, would that not make Lan Ze his... father?
At that thought, Gilgamesh held his forehead, as though he suddenly had a headache.
After rubbing his temple, he said, "Enough. I need you to handle one more matter."
Seeing Merlin raise his head with a puzzled expression, Gilgamesh quietly said,
"Find a tablet."
After a pause, he added, "The Tablet of Destinies."
