Background / History

Guang Ling and Qingluan recovered two exceptionally valuable spirit bones from the Star Dou Great Forest. During the incident, Guang Ling rescued Qingxi from an attack after she survived a heavenly tribulation. Though he initially intended to place her in an orphanage, he became responsible for her welfare and escorted her toward Soto City. 6

While traveling, Guang Ling fed Qingxi, listened to her account of her parents' deaths, bought her clothes, and arranged for Bishop Wenge to care for her at the Soto City Spirit Hall branch. Before leaving, he gave her a storage soul tool containing supplies and one of his arrows for protection. 7 8

After Qingxi later disappeared, Guang Ling searched for her for six years. Their reunion occurs when he intervenes against the Shrek Seven Devils, who confront Qingxi following the Soul Fighting Arena duels. 46 47
