Background / History

Wu Ci first manifests from a spatial rift after the Taisui Flame's initial advancement. Wearing black robes marked with a flame emblem and carrying a Flame Bamboo Scroll, he identifies himself as Shen Shihuang's “most loyal subject.” He explains that the scroll records Shen's growth through Heavenly Flame origin-energy fusions, while the Sea of Flames contains further loyal followers who will awaken as Shen grows stronger. Before disappearing, Wu Ci publicly proclaims Shen as the Emperor of Time. 22

After Shen fuses the Sea Heart Flame into the Taisui Flame, Wu Ci returns to congratulate him on its second upgrade and reveal the Taisui Mark. He states that a further upgrade will allow the beings within the Sea of Flames to manifest and fight for Shen. 53

Wu Ci later organizes an expedition into the Spirit Realm to obtain a portion of the Spirit Clan's Dou Di bloodline.
