The Dazzling Green

"Ah-!"

With a soft cry, Tang Yuehua felt a wave of weakness wash over her. Her hand went slack, and the Azure Nether Sword fell, point first. The hard stone floor yielded like water, swallowing the blade to its guard.

"Yuehua!"

Tang Hao strode to Tang Yuehua's side at once, examining her anxiously. "What's wrong? Are you hurt? Or are you feeling unwell?"

"No." Tang Yuehua had recovered her wits by then. She shook her head at Tang Hao and said, "Second Brother, don't worry. I'm fine."

With that, she bent down, reached for the sword's hilt, and pulled hard.

She had thought the sword was buried so deep in the stone floor that she might not be able to pull it out. To Tang Yuehua's surprise, however, she drew the Azure Nether Sword out with barely any effort.

Just then, Tang Yuehua noticed that her Soul Power was inside the Azure Nether Sword-all eight levels of Soul Power that should have been in her body!

With the sword in hand, her strength returned. Tang Yuehua's weakness vanished, and her limpid eyes filled with excitement. Looking past her second brother Tang Hao, she turned to Lou Gao, a few steps ahead. "President Lou Gao, could you tell me about this sword?"

"I can feel that my Soul Power stayed inside the sword after I infused it, but it's still under my control..."

At that, the excitement on Tang Yuehua's face faded a little, and she continued in a somewhat disappointed tone, "It's just that I have too little Soul Power. It feels as though all the Soul Power inside will be used up if I so much as give the sword a light swing."
