Little Wu Shuang was utterly dispirited!

Investigating Chu Yun's record was very simple. The Academy Assembly had been held countless times, and a mature system had long been established. Wu Shuang's investigation went very smoothly.

Yet the results beneath that smoothness left her feeling as though she were in a dream.

As she walked, her steps felt light and floating, her whole body and mind plunged into overwhelming shock.

Her mind was still filled with the comments people had made about Chu Yun.

"That was a genius. He came and went in a hurry, with a unique way of doing things that made him impossible to forget."

"That man was shameless. He made me wait a full half hour. Yet he put on such an anxious, aggrieved look that it made my teeth itch with hatred."

"At first, I was quite angry. In this kind of spar, being late was arrogance—a humiliation to one's opponent. But now I understand. Experts all have their little eccentricities."

It really was fifty-six consecutive victories! Wushuang hadn't lied to me. But how is that possible?

Little Wu Shuang fell into extreme conflict. She did not dare believe it, yet she had no choice but to believe.

"Hey, what's wrong with you? You look like your soul has left your body, as though you've seen a ghost. Or did you just fall in love at first sight and run into the prince charming from your dreams?" At that moment, her close friend spotted Wu Shuang on the street, walked over, and teased her.

"Ah, it's you. What did you just say?" Wu Shuang lifted her head and looked blankly at her close friend.

Her close friend rolled her eyes helplessly. "You must be tired. Well, you're a newcomer, after all.
