"What place is it?" Chu Yun's interest was piqued.
"The Imperial Dark Gathering." White Emperor blinked and handed Chu Yun a mask.
The black mask was soft and thin, with golden patterns set along its edges. It looked noble and mysterious. It was clearly an innate Demon Weapon.
"In the Hundun Sea, there is a heaven-shaking divine material called Dark Curtain Silk. This mask is a Demon Weapon woven from Dark Curtain Silk. Once worn, it conceals your entire form and turns you into black mist. It is ideal for hiding one's identity—even imperial-grade experts cannot see through it." As White Emperor introduced it, he took out another Black-Gold Mask and put it on.
Chu Yun watched as the Black-Gold Mask suddenly transformed into a cloud of shadowy black mist, enveloping White Emperor from head to toe.
In the blink of an eye, White Emperor had vanished, leaving behind only a mass of black fog.
"Well?" An unfamiliar, genderless voice came from within the mist. Even the voice had changed.
Chu Yun was startled. Had he not seen it with his own eyes, he would never have believed that a person stood before him—and that person was White Emperor, whom he had met before.
He could not even sense anyone within the black mist.
"Brother Chu, only if you wear this mask can I take you somewhere," White Emperor said again.
Chu Yun grew even more curious. At the imperial level, one could practically roam the Nine Provinces unhindered; even the Hundun Sea could be ventured into.
Yet what mysteries did this place White Emperor spoke of hold, that even imperial-grade experts had to wear masks and conceal their forms when going there?
As these thoughts turned in his mind, Chu Yun did not hesitate. He put on the mask.
