Ageless Town.

Mountains ringed it on all sides, greenery curling around it, every kind of flower and plant blooming in abundance. Under the influence of Ageless Forest, the seasons were much like spring and the flowers rarely withered. Throughout the vast town, floral fragrance never ceased, making it seem like a scene from a painting, frozen in Eternity.

A clear spring flowed down from the high mountain on one side of town. Before reaching the town, it gathered into a small river that ran straight through it. The water glittered beneath the light and murmured softly, while fish swayed as they pleased, darting back and forth within it.

The town itself was black and white—the walls white, the roofs black. A main road, paved in green bricks, served as its backbone, while the branching paths were made of cobblestones of varying sizes and colors.

There were quite a few people living here.

Over the past decade, its development had not only drawn in great numbers of people to stop and rest awhile, but had also led some to choose this place as their home.

By now, the permanent residents alone numbered nearly a hundred thousand.

It could be said that this place had been developed remarkably well. Ordinary mortals alone made up close to seventy percent of the population—an astonishing figure.

Where supernatural beings existed, unless the living conditions were truly unbearable, mortals generally had no desire to live alongside cultivators. It couldn't be helped; the gap between the two, in terms of force, was simply too vast.

It was like a tiger. Even if it didn't eat people, so long as it wasn't one you had raised yourself, could you truly live beside it without fear?

Impossible!

In the eyes of mortals, cultivators were more or less the same.
