A Corner of the Mystic Yellow Tower

It took Li Su several hours to reach H City.

H City was quite close to Z City, right next to it. It was a beautiful city, and from above, its layout resembled a butterfly.

There was a story behind it. Legend had it that not long after the city was built, it came under attack from an Insect Calamity. A young girl had guarded this place with her life. She transformed into a butterfly and fought alone against countless insects for an entire day and night, exhausting herself through the night until reinforcements arrived. Her body turned to grains of sand in the breeze like stone weathering away, vanishing without a trace.

From then on, to commemorate the girl, people named the city H City and built it in the shape of an enormous butterfly.

Stepping out of the taxi, Li Su stood within H City.

It truly was beautiful. The city was filled with butterfly trees, a very unusual kind of tree somewhat like cherry blossoms. They had no leaves. They sprouted in spring, their foliage white; in autumn, it turned yellow and detached from the branches, rising on the wind like countless butterflies and encircling all of H City.

There was a fragrance, faint and crisp rather than cloying. One breath of it made people unable to resist feeling refreshed and at ease.

Li Su could not help lingering for a long while, captivated by the scenery. Only after quite some time did he begin walking toward the place from Poison Snake's memories.

It was located at the butterfly's lower right corner, on the side with the shorter wing.

If one drew a line across the city from above, H City was wealthy on top and poor below.
