What the Fuck, a Dinosaur?
It was lush.
With his eyesight, he could see no farther than twenty meters into it.
His hearing could cover a greater distance, but with his extraordinary abilities gone, around a hundred meters was basically the limit.
His sense of smell, on the other hand, was proving immensely useful here. He could catch many scents—the smell of flesh and blood.
Unfortunately, he had no way to distinguish them in detail.
It was not that he lacked that ability. Rather, once activated, it would consume an astonishing amount of stamina and place no small burden on his brain cells. To preserve his combat strength, he needed to avoid excessive expenditure until he found his first meal.
After all, he had no idea how powerful the wildlife here was. What if they were all things like Heavenly Mountain Ice Silkworms and Vermilion Toads of Withered Wood? If his stamina dropped too sharply, that would be downright fatal.
From the various scents, he swiftly singled out one that was not particularly strong—or rather, one with less of a sweaty stench. A lighter smell meant a smaller individual, and thus less body odor. Keeping his movements as restrained as possible, Li Su quickly jogged toward it.
It was not even that far—about eight kilometers.
Fuck, he had heard that a horse could be run to death gazing at a mountain, but he had never imagined that following a scent could exhaust someone to death too.
He found his target.
Then Li Su's heart nearly stopped. His feet halted, and with a whoosh, he spun around and fled as fast as he had come.
In barely over ten seconds, he sprinted more than two thousand meters. Only after his liver had shrunk noticeably did Li Su stop, drenched in cold
