On the drone's end, Li Su felt a chill crawl down his spine.
He had taken the initiative to contact them because he finally had some confidence, the equivalent of declaring war head-on. He had been waiting to see what move they made, then retaliate like mad and teach them what heart-rending pain truly meant.
Instead, one phone call later, they turned around and told him: wait five days. If you don't contact us within five days, we'll drop a nuclear bomb.
At that thought, even with Li Su's nerves of steel, he could not help but shudder.
After all, contacting them had only been a spur-of-the-moment idea. They had gone too far—one did not even avenge the murder of one's father like this—so he had thought of getting in touch with them.
Under normal circumstances, he should have played dead outright, then waited for an opportunity to give them a vicious blow.
What was more, he had spent three days gathering energy, and now he had enough. If his physical constitution had been just a tiny bit stronger, if he had held on for a few more days...
The thought that they had nearly nuked him made Li Su break out in goosebumps.
He did not dwell on how they had known, or whether the statement was true. Their previous radiation attack had already explained plenty; he simply had not thought of it at the time. After all, if they could fucking collect radiation, would fusion still be difficult for them?
Li Su had great confidence in his Supreme Flesh, but with the supernatural extinguished, he did not think his current self could withstand it.
