Those left behind were the ones whose minds were normal—or at least, still somewhat normal.

For example, that pair of siblings and their parents.

He had no intention of speaking with them. With a wave of his hand, he collected them and sent them into the Demon-Subduing Hall.

He would let the people inside talk to them.

As for himself, Li Su looked toward the boundless depths of space in the distance.

This place was desolate. The environment resembled the universe, yet there were almost no stars.

In the vast, immeasurable void, the only things visible were a few ruins. Their ages varied: some appeared to be several hundred years old, some nearly a thousand, while others were made of bronze but covered in vast patches of verdigris, as though they had weathered ten thousand years.
