Kraun listed all the Magic Plant ingredients he was missing for brewing the potions, then waited for Nick's answer, feeling a little nervous.
If he could gather enough of these materials, he would be able to raise his Herbalism proficiency by a great deal. Perhaps he could even try making Grasses Potion for little Alan.
Having one more Transcendentalist would provide an extra safeguard for the stability of the church.
"I remember having some. Let me look for them," Nick said, standing up. "I've been collecting Transcendental materials for a year, planning to trade them with the church's supply team when they arrive before winter."
He walked over to the wooden cabinet in the corner of the room and began rummaging through it.
"I have plenty of Wild Steel Flower and Demon Emperor Grass, but only three stalks of Soul-Soothing Grass. Do you still want them?" Father asked, looking back.
"Yes. If you have them, I'll take them all," Kraun said with a grin. "Herbalism takes a lot of brewing to make any real progress. But what should we trade with? Spirit Coins?"
Nick nodded. "Yes, Spirit Coins. But I'll let you pay later this time. With the Gray Fog descending, the price of these Magic Plants should drop, since their output will gradually increase."
As he spoke, he walked back to the middle of the room and handed over several boxes. "Weigh them yourself when you get back, then let me know the amount."
"Sure," Kraun replied, taking the items and setting them beside himself.
He tilted his head and thought for a moment before asking, "Father, we can't get support from the church, and relying on just the few of us Transcendentalists puts us at a disadvantage. Do you think we could arm the ordinary people, too?"
"How
