After a century of seclusion, he learned from Ye Feng that the Void Burial would open in ten years and that he could lead ten Human Race prodigies inside.

• Ye Huang and Ye Liuli stood with Ye Lin against Yan Batian, and Ye Lin confronted him alone in the clouds.
• Ye Lin broke through to the late True Immortal realm during their battle and defeated Yan Batian with Reminiscence and the Heavenly Heart Sword Art.
• Yan Rulie intervened before Ye Lin could finish Yan Batian, offered Heavenly Saint Gold and Ice Soul Grass as compensation, and secured Yan Batian’s release.

Ye Lin selected the Human Race and Fox Race prodigies for the coming Void Burial, established Sword Mountain, and traveled to Heaven Earth City. There he faced Mo Xin in a battle that escalated as Ye Lin gathered purple lightning above the Nine Heavens.

• Ye Lin selected Human Race prodigies and Meng Meng to accompany him into the Void Burial, while the Human Race Alliance sent him a list of candidates.
• Ye Lin defeated Mo Yun, then used the ten chosen prodigies to kill fifty other claimants who had gathered to join the expedition.
• Ye Lin destroyed the old Holy Mountain and created Sword Mountain, where human prodigies could seek divine swords and inheritances.
• Ye Lin left for Heaven Earth City with his ten followers as prodigies from across the continents gathered for the conference.
• At Heaven Earth City, Ye Feng and the Great Shang Sacred Dynasty entered the Heaven-Reaching Tower, while Ye Lin was initially denied entry because his name was missing from the register.
• Mo Xin challenged Ye Lin and sent his Devil Race prodigies against Ye Lin’s followers, while Ye Lin fought Mo Xin in the Nine Heavens.

Ye Lin killed Mo Xin and the remaining Devil Race prodigies, then cultivated the Invincible Fortune Method before entering Void Burial with the Human Race prodigies. After clashes with Southern Demon Domain fighters, Ye Lin faced the Buddhist Sect’s attempt to convert him through the Salvation Array.

• Ye Lin killed Mo Xin with the Nine Heavens Profound Thunder Sword Art, then used his final step to kill the nine remaining Devil Race prodigies and drew fortune across the Northern Continent.
• Ye Lin rejected Ru Yan’s challenge over a reserved seat, learned about Northern Continent’s past betrayal and losses in Void Burial, and prepared for the expedition.
• Ye Lin cultivated the Invincible Fortune Method inside the Mysterious Yellow All-Things Bell, transforming his power and reaching True Immortal Peak before Void Burial opened.
• Ye Lin entered Void Burial with the Human Race prodigies, survived the backlash from the Heavenly Gate’s Dao plaque, and encountered Ye Gudu among the ruins.
• Ye Lin’s group encountered Qingcang and the Sacred Dragon Sect, and the Human Race prodigies fought their attackers while Ye Lin wounded Qingcang.

• Wuchen and nine monks trapped Ye Lin in the Salvation Array, but Ye Lin used Heart-Slaying to injure the monks and expose the array’s weakness.

Ye Lin rescued Taiqing from Cang Sheng and Caged Bird, then led his group toward the Blazing Fire Stele. At the stele, Dugu Feng challenged Qin Hua over Gudu Mo’s death, and Ye Lin joined the fight, mortally wounding Qin Hua.

• Ye Lin shattered Wuchen’s formation, defeated Qingcang and Wuchen, and chose to destroy Wuchen’s corpse rather than let one of his incarnations take it over.
• Ye Lin’s group encountered Taiqing’s besieged party, and he rescued her after her disciples died protecting her, then defeated Cang Sheng and Caged Bird.
• Taiqing killed Caged Bird and condemned Cang Sheng to torment before agreeing to travel with Ye Lin and his companions.
• Ye Lin led the group through the Void Burial to the Blazing Fire Stele, where the Demon Domain’s four regions gathered and disputed their places around it.
• Dugu Feng challenged Qin Hua over Gudu Mo’s death, and Wenxin joined the fight to settle the Myriad Saint Buddhist Sect’s karmic debt.
• Ye Lin arrived during Dugu Feng’s battle with Qin Hua and Wenxin, destroyed Qin Hua’s golden Dragon attack, and took Qin Hua on himself.
• Qin Hua fought Ye Lin with his unnamed saber, while Ye Lin unleashed Sword Nine, Heaven-Sundering and the Nine Schools Profound Thunder Sword Art.
• Ye Lin dissipated Qin Hua’s defenses and stabbed him through the heart with the Blooddrinking Sword of the Fallen Emperor.
