• Ye Lin released Lu Cang after receiving the Myriad Poison Dao Art, then gave the art to Poison Venerable.
• Ye Lin, Long Aotian, Hua Jieyu, and Dugu Feng discovered ancient prodigies extracting fate from corpses, and Ye Lin learned that Demon Domain factions supported the stowaways’ plan to use present-day geniuses as stepping stones.

• Kuanglan revealed that the Shu Mountain Sword Sect had appointed Ye Lin as its Dao Protector, while Ye Lin refused to involve the sect or the Human Ancestor Hall and withdrew with Poison Venerable to Central Continent.
• Ye Lin brought the surviving prodigies to Purple Sky City, where Poison Venerable reported that twenty-seven prodigies had died and the group vowed to avenge them.
• Ye Lin organized defenses around Sacred Cloud Mountain as four prodigies prepared to break through, while Dugu Feng and others fought the stowaways and Ye Lin confronted Lu Cang.

• Ye Lin returned to Purple Sky City and found it and the Purple Sky Heavenly Palace destroyed, then vowed revenge for the dead.
• Poison Venerable accepted Forbidden Void as his master and took command of 4,382 Great Demons, while Dugu Feng and major Demon Domain factions joined Ye Lin’s side.
