• Ye Lin defeated Yang Tian, Qin Hao, and Lei Chong with his gray flames, then left the Vermilion Bird Clan after no one else dared challenge him.
• Ye Lin visited Spirit-Gaze City, where the Heavenly Eye Spirit Race’s youths used their True Spirit Eyes on him and suffered devastating backlash.

Ye Lin and his companions crossed the cloud sea and Earth Abyss, escorting Qing Luo’s survivors toward the ancient passage while seeking a Lesser Sacred Land. In Sword Cry Valley, Ye Lin mastered the sword puppets’ trial and gained the Sword Graveyard’s inheritance, leaving with a profound new understanding of the Sword Dao.

• Ye Lin took the silver sword-shaped fruit from the Transparent Deer, defeated the giant bear with Iron Hammer’s help, and gained the Cloud Pierce sword move by absorbing the fruit’s Sword Dao insights.
• Ye Lin led his companions across the sea of clouds, where Iron Hammer gathered Great Dao crystals and Blade Fanatic destroyed the creature whose tentacles attacked him.
• The group descended into the Earth Abyss, where Iron Hammer drove off the Deep-Earth Ancient Turtle and Qing Luo explained her tribe’s plight and the routes leading toward the sacred lands.
• Ye Lin agreed to guide Qing Luo and the Green Vine Tribe’s survivors through the ancient passage, taking their map of hidden treasures and possible Lesser Sacred Lands.
• After finding a Golden-Winged Thunder Roc skeleton, Ye Lin chose to investigate Sword Cry Valley, where he and his companions weathered a storm of Sword Qi and entered the Sword Graveyard.
• Ye Lin studied and combined the eighteen sword puppets’ techniques, passing their trial before Sword Demon entered and completed it as well.

After taking crystals and killing Mo Yuan, Lin Xi, and their allies, Ye Lin trapped Li Song and his Dao Protectors at the battlefield.
