Ye Lin completed the Holy Land trials, then joined Su Tao’s campaign to unify the Southern Region in exchange for the Supreme Purity Mystic Bell. After rapidly destroying the Heavenly Crane Imperial Dynasty, Ye Lin’s army advanced toward Black River, alarming the forces controlling the City of Sin.

• Ye Lin passed the sword trials, received the Sword Heart Seal, and learned that he could return to seek the true inheritance trial after reaching the third level of Quasi-Saint.
• Void led Ye Lin out of the Nine Heavens, and Ye Lin began exploring the Eighth Heaven, where he witnessed armies using formations to summon powerful military souls.
• Su Tao invited Ye Lin to help unify the Southern Region and offered him a fragment of the Supreme Purity Mystic Bell, while Ye Lin agreed to serve for thirty years under a binding contract.
• Su Tao named Ye Lin the Great Frost Dynasty’s second Imperial Lord and assigned him an army to conquer the Southern Region.
• Ye Lin led the army against the Heavenly Crane Imperial Dynasty, killed Heaven Crane Lord with a sword attack, and ordered Han Che to move on to the next target.
• Su Tao began his own campaign against the Black Bear Dynasty and demanded that Old Li surrender its Imperial Jade Seal.

Ye Lin swept through the Southern Region, crushing resistance and taking several dynasties for the Great Frost Dynasty. After the Snow Domain Dynasty surrendered, Ye Lin discovered that Xue Xin had fled and might seek help from the Blood Demon Saint.

• Ye Lin killed Black River’s three Quasi-Saints, destroyed the City of Sin, and ordered his army to slaughter the region’s inhabitants and seize its treasures.
• Ye Lin defeated Wang Ziyi with three sword strikes, took the Xuanyuan Dynasty’s submission, and led his army toward the Southern Barbarian Dynasty.
• Wang Dali surrendered the Southern Barbarian Dynasty and gave Ye Lin its Imperial Jade Seal, then chose the Snow Domain Dynasty as the next target.
• Xue Xin’s Prime Minister persuaded her that resistance would destroy the Snow Domain Dynasty, and she entrusted him with its affairs and seal so he could surrender.
• Ye Lin rejected the Snow Domain officials’ surrender without their Sovereign’s presence, ordered Wang Dali to bring Xue Xin to him, and had the ministers seized.
• Wang Dali wrecked the imperial capital and killed millions of civilians but could not find Xue Xin, then warned Ye Lin that she might have fled to her former Dao companion, the Blood Demon Saint.

Ye Lin’s army conquered the Southern Region’s dynasties and confronted Venerable Mo Xing, while Su Tao fought off five rulers trying to keep him away. An old man revealed that Ye Lin came from beyond the heavens and foresaw Su Tao’s unification of the region, Mo Xing’s death, and Ye Lin’s eventual departure.

• Ye Lin killed the Blood Demon Saint and Xue Xin, then accepted Blood Pupil’s surrender on behalf of the Ten Thousand Demons Dynasty.
• Eight dynasty lords sought Venerable Mo Xing’s help, and he agreed to lead them against Ye Lin and the Great Frost Dynasty.
• Ye Lin’s army reached the Heaven-Equaling Dynasty, where Wang Dali killed Wei Xun in a duel and Chu Lang killed Blood Pupil before Ye Lin killed Chu Lang.
• Venerable Mo Xing prepared to fight Ye Lin, while the watching dynasty rulers planned to submit to whichever one survived.
• Su Tao abandoned his plans to rush south, but five dynasty lords intercepted him at Black River and challenged him together.
• Su Tao used lightning to suppress the five rulers, who realized he had reached the second level of the Quasi-Saint Realm.
• An old man told a young man that Ye Lin came from beyond the heavens, Su Tao would unify the Southern Region, Mo Xing would die, and Ye Lin would eventually leave.
• The old man recalled a divination that had foretold Su Tao’s rise and instructed the young man to agree to whatever Ye Lin requested if he came to their family.

Ye Lin helped Su Tao seize the Southern Region, then left after receiving a Supreme Purity Mystic Bell fragment and traveled north. In the Northern Region, Ye Lin met Emperor Su Cheng, who tried to recruit him with a powerful sword.

• Ye Lin killed Venerable Mo Xing and the ten dynasty lords, then gave Su Tao ten days to settle the Southern Region.
• Su Tao secured Venerable Black Tortoise’s seal and gathered the dynasties’ Imperial Jade Seals and Supreme Purity Mystic Bell fragments for his ascension.
• Su Tao founded the Great Frost Imperial Dynasty by absorbing the Southern Region’s fortune into his body, reaching the fourth level of the Quasi-Saint Realm.
