A woman with black sand veiling her face and dressed in a black robe stood silently in midair. The cries of battle and slaughter all around seemed to fall on deaf ears, unable to affect her in the slightest.
She simply stood there in silence.
"Shadow Kill Pavilion, Ethereal?"
Ye Lin looked at the woman and spoke softly.
"That is correct."
Ethereal's voice was exceptionally hollow and distant, as though it held not the slightest trace of emotion.
"Fine."
After a long silence, Ye Lin finally said.
"Thank you."
With that, Ethereal led the Shadow Kill Pavilion members below away. In the blink of an eye, they had vanished without a trace.
Ye Lin did not take this minor interlude to heart.
He did not know whether Shadow Kill Pavilion had ever killed members of the Human Race, but looking over the entire scene, none of the Human Race's prodigies had stepped forward to trouble those Shadow Kill Pavilion disciples.
Given how the Human Race held grudges, if they had been provoked before, how could they possibly refrain from seeking trouble?
If they did not seek trouble, it meant there was no enmity between the two sides at all.
