After Ye Lin stole the Holy Spring and freed a captive Black Turtle, he reunited with Liu Bai and agreed to join the Firmament Sacred Land, offering to resolve its standoff with the Black Turtle Clan.

• Ye Lin and Liu Bai hunted exotic creatures on Saintess Star, where Ye Lin found Mutated Sacred Gold and fought Bai Cai before choosing to leave him alive.
• After Liu Bai helped Ye Lin through a crisis of faith, Ye Lin reaffirmed his own path, and the pair traveled with Yuexi to Sky Cloud Star.
• Liu Bai and Ye Lin entered the Sacred Mountain using Yuexi’s Identity Token, where an old beggar gave Liu Bai the Tathagata Palm and Ye Lin the Eighteen Dragon-Subduing Palms.
• Ye Lin disguised himself as Rogue Cultivator Li Bai, sneaked into the forbidden grounds, and agreed to extinguish the lamp binding a giant Black Tortoise in exchange for help reaching the Holy Spring.

Ye Lin entered the Firmament Sacred Land, earned Inner Sect status, and defeated Lin Feng while struggling to understand domains. In the Kunlun Secret Realm, he fought demons and snow beasts, gathered treasures, and set out with the others for the central region and the Heaven-Reaching Tower.

Gu Tianxing and the Purple Cloud Star System’s forces fought rival factions for entry to the Heaven-Reaching Tower, where Ye Lin cleared its trials and Liu Bai gained a Golden Immortal inheritance. Back at Firmament Sacred Land, Ye Lin agreed to accompany Yuexi to Fire Cloud Star to hunt Blazing Beasts.

• Gu Tianxing defeated Leonard and led the three great sacred lands in destroying the Three-Eyed Sacred Clan’s forces, while Ye Lin began studying how domains reflected the laws of nature.
• Tongtian rejected an immediate war over his son’s death and instead planned to make the Purple Cloud Star System’s factions turn against one another.
• The Evil Spirit Race and Ghost Shark Race attacked the gathered factions, while Apocalypse recruited Ye Lin and Liu Bai for a future expedition to Mo Yuan’s ruins.
• After a battle left more than a thousand Earth Immortal cultivators dead, the Heaven-Reaching Tower opened, and Ye Lin and Liu Bai entered its trials.

• Ye Lin encountered conflicting claims about the ominous beings, then secluded himself for a hundred years and developed a domain that could rewrite the world's rules.
• Ye Lin and Liu Bai joined Apocalypse to explore a Taiyi Mysterious Immortal ruin, where Ye Lin's mirror showed that the monsters were actually cultivators.
