Ye Lin reached the Nascent Soul Realm, killed Li Shengli, and helped repel a massive Demon Cultivator attack alongside Wuxin. Their battlefield victory earned them command positions at the Third Defense Line, where Ye Lin captured a Source Spirit and began preparing the defenders for the next battle.

• Ye Lin mastered the Sword Dao Killing Formation and joined Wuxin at Tianhe Prefecture’s defenses as the Demon Beast horde advanced.
• Ye Lin killed three colossal Demon Beasts and later absorbed Fengtai Mountain’s Earth Vein Essence, while Wuxin warned that the enemy forces were growing.
• Ye Lin took the Foundation Solidifying Pill from Zhang Zhidao, broke through to the Nascent Soul Realm, and warned that Li Shengli would attack the Immortal Slaying Sect.

After rescuing Chu Xue and helping defend the Tianyan Sect, he followed Wuxin into the Talisman Lord’s abode, where Su Qi led them to meet the Great Emperor.

• Jian Wushuang led the survivors from the third defensive line, and an unseen Spirit Transformation cultivator killed millions of pursuing Demon Beasts before Ye Lin returned to Nameless Mountain and entered the Inner Sect.
• Ye Lin reforged Evil Slayer, defeated Zhou Qingyun in the arena, and drew the Ten Sequences’ attention after Zhou revealed that Ren Feiyang had sent him.
• Ye Lin reached Chu Xue at Cloud Peak Mountain, where Little Red killed the thirty-four cultivators threatening her, and Yinchuan recognized Little Red as the lost young lord of the Phoenix Clan.
• Ye Lin and Wuxin reached the besieged Tianyan Sect, where Ye Lin killed fifteen Nascent Soul Peak cultivators and Wuxin sent the Eighteen Arhats to destroy the attacking sects.

Ye Lin received the Talisman Lord’s legacy, then entered the Heavenly Palace Ruins to seek the Night-Shining Pearl and pursue treasures and opportunities. After helping the Human Race survive a Shadow Clan attack, he arranged an alliance with the Asura Clan as a gigantic island descended into the ruins.

• Ye Lin accepted the Talisman Lord’s insights, then defended the fortress from outside cultivators before compiling the legacy into a book for the Human Race.
• After upgrading his Spirit Root and surviving the Heavenly Dao’s lightning, Ye Lin accepted Taichu’s offer to enter the Heavenly Palace Ruins and retrieve the Night-Shining Pearl.
• Ye Lin entered the ruins, fought Bai Jin, and obtained the Night-Shining Pearl from Ming Yi in exchange for holding off a Demon Race fighter.
