Ye Lin conquered the Heaven-Reaching Tower, secured the Sun-Shooting Bow, and captured an ancient Great Demon’s remnant soul to strengthen Evil Slayer. He then reached Mystic Yellow Prefecture, where the Martial Ancestor tested him and demanded to know what he could offer her people.

• Ye Lin entered the Heaven-Reaching Tower and rapidly cleared its trials, defeating ten Bloodthirsty tigers on the thirty-first floor and surpassing the Sword God’s record.
• Ye Lin defeated three golden dragons and advanced beyond the fortieth floor, while Meng Yun accepted his role as Sect Master and prepared the Ancient God Sect to honor their agreement.
• Ye Lin failed to clear the forty-first floor, but Meng Yun gave him the Divine Bow and promised to send troops against the Evil Demons within three days.
• Ye Lin left the Ancient God Sect with Toutian and Little Red, bonded with the Sun-Shooting Bow, and learned its four-arrow technique from the artifact spirit.

Ye Lin secured Spirit Hidden Temple’s support for Nameless Mountain, then joined allies to ambush and kill Wang Teng and his companions. As Ye Lin headed to Tianhe Prefecture to find Jian Unrivaled, Divine Sword City faced an attack and Sword Venerable summoned a wooden sword despite his injuries.

• Ye Lin negotiated with Spirit Hidden Temple, and its elder agreed to gather the temple’s forces and purge Evil Demons.
• After learning Wang Teng and two others were plotting against him, Ye Lin recruited Zhao Huaian, Zhao Huaiping, and Leng Ning to help kill them.
• Ye Lin and his allies gathered sixteen Spirit Transformation True Persons and trapped Wang Teng, Li Qingxuan, and Wang Shengtian in a canyon.
• Little Red overwhelmed the three targets, and Leng Ning killed Wang Teng while Little Red tore apart the other two.

Taiyuan fought the Sacred Blade Sect and the Five Elements Sacred Land, killed Shen Xing and three Spirit Transformation True Persons, and told An Yuan he would marry her.

• Ye Lin defeated Wen Tian’s three sword strikes, then challenged Jian Unrivaled to rise from despair and taught the gathered swordsmen about the Destruction Sword Dao Rule.
• Nameless Mountain recalled its disciples after three of the Ten Sequences were assassinated, and Taichu began preparations for a yearlong Sect Master selection.
• Ren Feiyang, Wang Xuan, and Li Qingxuan’s follower pledged their factions’ support to Ye Lin, who accepted and realized he was no longer bound to the panel’s predicted future.
• Taiyuan told Ye Lin he loved a woman promised to another man, and Ye Lin gave him the Sword Pellets and World-Suppressing Giant Tower before urging him to follow his heart.
• Taiyuan arrived at the Sacred Blade Sect during An Yuan’s wedding to Shen Xing and asked An Yuan to leave with him.
