Ye Lin acquired the Cosmos Seal from the Spirit King, used it to remove Silent Ridge, and crossed the Nether Sea toward Yun Province. After Ao Ping betrayed him, Ye Lin fled into Falling Dragon Grotto, where his pursuers refused to follow.

• Ye Lin crossed the Annihilation Divine Bridge, found the Annihilation Sacred Flame in the Tree of Death, and had his Purgatory Ice Flame devour it, transforming it into the Nine Nether Prison Flame.
• Ye Lin returned to the bridge and drove off the three colossal beasts long enough for Zhang Ling'er and Ye Xin to escape with him.
• Ye Lin visited the Spirit King, who lent him the Cosmos Seal and warned that the Heaven-Devouring Toad Clan’s enemies might recognize it.

Ye Lin crossed the Nether Sea, refined the Dragon Ball, and was drawn into memories linked to the Bronze Immortal Hall. After reaching Yun Province amid a refugee crisis, he followed the route Wang Mingyang arranged through the breached defenses.

• Ye Lin absorbed the Dragon Souls in Falling Dragon Grotto, took the evil dragon’s Dragon Ball, and later refined its essence in the Bronze Immortal Hall, breaking through to the late Daluo Golden Immortal realm.
• Ye Lin sat on the hall’s throne and received painful memories of Ye Xiu, who confronted three disciples after they killed his wife and clansmen and vowed to cast them into the Endless Abyss.
• Ye Lin returned to the Nether Sea and continued toward Yun Province with Zhang Ling’er, traveling on Di Jun’s back through the Nether Dragon Clan’s territory.
• Wang Mingyang warned Ye Lin that Yun Province’s borders were sealed and gave him a map of weak crossings, so Ye Lin and Zhang Ling’er joined refugees heading through a canyon.
• Yun Province’s defenders tried to stop the sea races at the city wall, but the Sea Clan broke through and poured into the province.
• A monk confirmed that Elder Wang had arranged an escort for Ye Lin, then led the group onward with a trail of golden lotuses.

Ye Lin returned the Cosmos Seal to Spirit King and entered the memories of Ye Xiu, whose pursuit of power began after Yun’er’s death. The memories revealed Ye Xiu’s rise to Dao Master and his reunion with Liu Yun’er, while Ye Lin emerged from them shaken but with his Dao heart intact.

• Wang Mingyang welcomed Ye Lin and his companions to Mara Temple’s residence, gave them Identity Tokens, and warned Ye Lin that Buddha Prefecture was in turmoil.
• Ye Lin visited Spirit King to return the Cosmos Seal and ask about the memories tormenting him, and Spirit King advised him to experience the memories rather than resist them.
• Ye Lin witnessed Ye Xiu’s love for Yun’er, her disappearance under the Great Dao, and Ye Xiu’s grief and long campaign against powerful cultivators.
• Ye Xiu entered the Primordial Continent and learned that fixed numbers of cultivators could occupy the highest realms, leaving him uncertain whether he could ever revive Yun’er.
• Ye Xiu’s despair shook Ye Lin’s Dao heart, but Ye Lin steadied himself and continued watching as Ye Xiu fought a crowd of attackers.

Ye Lin left the secret realm and joined the effort to suppress unrest, where he survived a trap in Dark Cloud Mountain and defeated Liu Su. After a tavern attack, Ye Lin and Wang Zheng pursued Heaven Province cultivators and found themselves facing three powerful beasts.

• Ye Lin left the secret realm, met Wang Mingyang, and joined the suppression forces amid conflict between Yun Province and Heaven Province.
• In Dark Cloud Mountain, Ye Lin and Wang Zheng encountered refugees, but Liu Su and the Zhao Xing brothers revealed their plan to kill Ye Lin.
• Ye Lin used Delusion and the Laws of Time to seize Liu Su’s Everlasting Formation Disk, then shattered Liu Su’s Primordial Spirit and helped Wang Zheng finish his fight.
• Wang Zheng told Ye Lin how he had escaped Heaven Province and lost his closest friend, then drank himself unconscious at an underground tavern.
• Armed attackers surrounded the tavern, so Ye Lin woke Wang Zheng and led him through the fighting to a cave where they waited for him to recover.
• Star Saint explained that the attackers had stolen an important item and offered a reward for its return, while Wang Zheng secretly planned to hunt those who had humiliated him.
• Wang Zheng and Ye Lin traveled toward Heaven Province cultivators, then attacked a giant bear, a White Tiger, and a Vermilion Bird when the beasts appeared.
• Ye Lin pursued the Vermilion Bird through its flames and struck at it again as it cried out and the fire erupted.
