• Ye Lin exposed Liu Yun’s confession as evidence, defeated the Liu Family’s elders, and destroyed the family and its stronghold.
• After leaving the ruins, Ye Lin was intercepted by Dragon One, Dragon Two, and Dragon Three, who attacked him because he bore the Heaven-Devouring Toad Clan’s mark.
• The three dragons pushed Ye Lin to his limits, but he awakened the Sword Dao’s source and wounded all of them with Return to the Void.
• Dragon One and the others escaped when Ye Lin was too exhausted to pursue, and Ye Lin returned to Meteor Island to recover for a thousand years.
• Ye Lin submitted his completed mission at the Holy Palace and received a level-two Heaven-Seeking Bureau Identity Token and his reward.

Ye Lin drew with Ning Yi in the Boundary Sea, earned the Mystic Soul Dragon Clan’s promise to leave him alone, and recovered from his severe injuries with Ning Yi’s pill. He then followed Shen Muge as she pursued Gu Chen, now a monk named Qingran, and the stretch ended with Ye Lin facing twenty-seven monks in the Void.

• Spirit King sent Ye Lin to the Boundary Sea as bait for the Mystic Soul Dragon Clan, and Ye Lin arranged a mission to capture three Star-Slaying Beasts.
• Ning Yi confronted Ye Lin and revealed that the clan knew of the plan, then fought him with ancient techniques and primeval beasts.
• Ye Lin and Ning Yi fought to exhaustion, and Ye Lin stopped a sword strike just short of Ning Yi’s brow as they agreed to call the battle a draw.
• Ning Yi gave Ye Lin a healing pill and an Identity Token, and a white-bearded old man supplied the three beasts and transported Ye Lin back to the Origin Continent.
• Ye Lin took the pill, which rebuilt his damaged body, dantian, Primordial Spirit, and silver-white sword, restoring him to peak condition and bringing him close to the second Quasi-Saint level.

Ye Lin killed Qingran and the monks of Great Forest Chan Temple, then became the target of Buddhist vengeance before traveling to a wedding in the Eastern Region. There, Wei Shang Tian’s sealed Taotie Divine Body began to awaken as his father Wei Sinan revealed the truth about him.

• Ye Lin killed Yuanji and the remaining twenty-seven monks of Great Forest Chan Temple with the Godslayer Sword.
• Ye Lin fought Qingran, broke through the Mystic Origin Buddha Body with his sword arts, and killed him with Ten Thousand Swords Return to Origin.
• Shen Muge freed Ye Lin and Yun Qiyue, gave Ye Lin a Star Gate token, and left, while Ning Yi invited Ye Lin to visit the Mystic Soul Dragon Clan.
• Buddhists vowed to avenge Qingran, but Blade Saint Heaven Severance killed Venerable Jiana and My Buddha sent him away before correcting the other Buddhist experts.
• Ye Lin traveled to a city hosting Wei Shang Tian’s wedding and watched Lu Xue defeat a lightning-wreathed attacker.
• Wei Sinan joined Ye Lin and revealed that the groom, Wei Shang Tian, was his son and had a sealed Taotie constitution.
• Lu Xue spared Wei Shang Tian after he professed his love, and Wei Sinan revealed that he had sealed his son’s Taotie Divine Body to hide it from enemies.
• Wei Sinan unleashed Violet Zenith Heavenly Lightning on Wei Shang Tian, whose ancient jade pendant shattered as his phantom form emerged and divine lightning gathered around him.

Wei Shang Tian awakened his Taotie Divine Body and reached the Quasi-Saint realm, while Ye Lin formed a bond with Wei Sinan’s family. Bao Yun gathered the ingredients to save Little Fox, then brought Le Xin to Meteor Island and learned Ye Lin had known his mother, Bao Xiaotou.

• Wei Shang Tian absorbed the heavenly lightning, awakened his Taotie Divine Body, and advanced to Quasi-Saint before confessing his love to Lu Xue.
• Wei Sinan welcomed Ye Lin to the Wei Family, where Li Wan was shaken by Ye Lin’s resemblance to her deceased eldest son.
• Bao Yun stole the ingredients needed for the Source-Replenishing Pill and refined it to save the white fox, who became a woman named Le Xin.
• The Medicine King Sect and Flowing Cloud Sect elders confronted Bao Yun over the stolen herbs, and Mystic Tortoise agreed to take him to Ye Lin to verify his claim.
• Mystic Tortoise and the elders saw Meteor Island’s wonders before bringing Bao Yun and Le Xin to Ye Lin.
• Ye Lin sent the three elders away and learned Bao Yun had sought him at his mother’s request, then explained he had known Bao Xiaotou and offered Bao Yun a safe place on Meteor Island.
