Background / History

During the Great Nirvana period, Hong discovered numerous Ancient Civilization Relic sites. Among his gains was a starship capable of manufacturing Smart Fighter Jets; these opportunities supported the rise of the Limit Martial Hall into the world’s leading force 38.

As the Limit Martial Hall’s founder and First Speaker, Hong stood at the pinnacle of Earth’s martial artists. He was regarded as the only person globally capable of suppressing a Beast Emperor, and his presence deterred other Councillors from recklessly entering Mist Island’s lake 38.

Hong intervened in the struggle for eight Wood Essence Crystals on Mist Island, confronting Zhou Hao after sensing his intent to claim them. His Light Domain restricted Zhou Hao’s movement and mental-power weapon, while his spear techniques forced Zhou Hao to defend carefully 49. Zhou Hao ultimately defeated him with the advanced Heaven-Piercing Shuttle’s strongest sword-light attack; Hong acknowledged the loss and yielded the title of First Speaker 50.

He later left Earth to travel with his teacher, the Time Lord, but retained a strong attachment to his homeworld. Upon returning after two hundred years, he described Earth simply as “home” 167.

Personality

Hong is calm, disciplined, and deeply devoted to martial arts. Thor notes that Hong does not find Zhou Hao’s extraordinary talent frightening, instead viewing it as a sign that Earth has finally produced a genius 35.

He is protective of developing talent. When Zhou Hao attracted widespread attention as a child, Hong decided the boy should train at the camp without interference from outside parties 35.

Hong also accepts defeat with composure. After losing to Zhou Hao, he neither disputed the outcome nor made excuses, openly recognizing Zhou Hao as the new world number one powerhouse 50.
