Ye Zhao glanced through the group chat, added Wen Bai's contact information, slung her backpack over her shoulders, and left her room.

She took a walk around outside and found that aside from the noise, and the occasional scuffles between groups over supplies, nothing particularly strange had happened.

However, after checking every floor, she discovered that all the food in the restaurants was gone, and not a single staff member could be found.

"Hey, little sister, all alone? How about your big brothers keep you company?" Four or five tall, burly men surrounded her, their gazes moving back and forth between her and her backpack. They even shouted away everyone passing nearby. The other Players were terrified; a few who wanted to step forward and stand up for justice were slapped aside, while everyone else, unwilling to provoke trouble, quickly dispersed.

Ye Zhao glanced at them. "Get lost."

Rather than flying into a rage at her words, the men burst out laughing. The bald man said, "Little sister's got quite the temper. Big Brother likes that!"

Ye Zhao smiled, pulled a baseball bat from behind her back, and swung it hard. The bald man's head split open, blood streaming down his face as he collapsed in agony. The others immediately rushed forward. One of them used [Vine - Elemental Card], and a vine emerged beneath Ye Zhao's feet, wrapping around her legs.

With a burst of strength from Ye Zhao, the vine shattered. The Player who had used it widened his eyes, staring at her in disbelief.

The bald man lay on the ground, his face twisted in pain, and used [Earth Wall - Elemental Card]. An earth wall rose in front of Ye Zhao. He scrambled to his feet and ran, but Ye Zhao used a Teleportation Card, bypassing the obstacle to appear in front of him, then kicked him straight back.

Ye Zhao gave them no time to react. She charged in and knocked each of them down with a single blow of her bat. In the blink of an eye, every one of them had a cracked skull and lay sprawled on the ground.

She planted a foot on the bald man's chest. "So? Am I spicy enough? Do you like it? I can be even spicier, you know~"

The bald man felt as if a boulder were pressing down on his chest. Unable to catch his breath, he nearly passed out before begging, "I-I-I'm sorry! I failed to recognize greatness when I saw it. Please, have mercy and forgive me this once!"

Ye Zhao was no kind little girl, and she had no interest in repaying evil with kindness. "Hand over all your items. Maybe then I'll spare your lives."

"Big sis, eldest sister, we know we were wrong! Please spare us!"

"Eldest Sister, from now on, we'll listen to you in everything! We'll do whatever you tell us to!"

"Any game items you like, we'll rob them for you!"

The bald man regretted everything. It was his first time entering the game, and he had drawn three Attribute Pages with Strength +10. After his strength soared, he had thought himself invincible. Later, he gathered a few like-minded friends and robbed several Elemental Cards. He had thought he could at least become a minor king.

Who would have thought he would end up falling to a woman who looked so soft and delicate?

Before Ye Zhao could speak, a school-uniformed boy with a bruised and swollen face ran over from the corner and said excitedly, "Don't let them go! They didn't just steal our game items—they threw several people into the sea! They're demons!"

Ye Zhao looked up at him. "Then you do it. Kill them."

The school-uniformed boy froze, and his hands shook even harder. "I-I-I can't..."

Ye Zhao shrugged. Then she would do it herself. Just as she was about to search them, the school-uniformed boy gathered his courage and ran over again. "I-I-I'll kill them!"

The men on the ground glared at the school-uniformed boy with eyes wide in fury. He pulled out a piece of glass from his pocket, still stained with quite a bit of blood. His eyes widened as he stared fixedly at the five men on the ground.

Without hesitation, he drove the shard into the bald man's neck. Blood splashed onto the shoe Ye Zhao had planted on the bald man's chest.

The school-uniformed boy immediately said guiltily, "S-sorry, I'll wipe it off for you."

Ye Zhao casually withdrew her foot. There were still the other four. Their faces had gone pale as they begged frantically for mercy. Ye Zhao dealt with two, and the school-uniformed boy dealt with the other two. After searching the bodies, the two of them worked together to dump the corpses overboard, and all five bodies sank into the sea.

Ye Zhao watched the whirlpools ripple across the surface of the water and silently sighed. She took a handkerchief from her pocket and wiped her hands, then pulled out a milk candy, popped it into her mouth, and offered one to the school-uniformed boy. "Want one?"

The school-uniformed boy accepted it properly. "Thank you."

He put the milk candy into his pocket, then respectfully presented eight Elemental Cards with both hands. With that many Elemental Cards, it was obvious those men had robbed quite a few people. One of the cards was even his. Ye Zhao casually took four. "We split them evenly."

The school-uniformed boy looked up at Ye Zhao nervously. He wanted to refuse but could not bring himself to, so he could only say again, "Thank you!"

After a pause, he added, "Sister, I'll remember you."

Ye Zhao: ? Thanks, I guess.

Ye Zhao continued wandering around the cruise ship. Perhaps because she was splattered with quite a bit of blood, no one dared try to rob her again along the way.

She also used her skill to Scan most of the Players, but most Players in this round only had Elemental Cards as game items. There were not many valuable items.

She made a full circuit of the cruise ship and indeed could not find a single convenience store. The only place on the ship with food was the restaurant.

But the food in the restaurant had all been taken. This had seemed fairly ordinary at first, since buffet restaurants generally had set serving hours. It was not until one or two in the afternoon, when the Players' excitement finally faded and they began to feel hungry, that they flocked to the restaurant in search of food.

However, after turning the restaurant upside down, they could not find even a crumb of bread.

Missing one meal was no big deal, and the group scattered amid grumbling curses.

That night, a group of people who had gone hungry all day returned to the restaurant. Unfortunately, it was still completely empty, without the slightest bit of food.

Only then did the Players realize something was wrong. Besides fighting over items, they also had to fight over food.
